yeah for sure. striker is usually the easiest dps to focus on and just move from there as you get back into things. youll find a lot of builds tend to use the same types of pieces so farming them gets much easier

there is a whole discussion that happens every time ninja bike bag comes up. its a unique piece, no doubt. to kinda shorten the explanation, ninja bike blocks powerful damage talents that come on bags, and the minors it unlocks dont outweigh what you lose

you can get some good stuff but the meta right now is miserable not to mention the huge cheater issue

which kind of sucks because i got into the division because of the dark zone
i'm not great at pvp i kind of suck but it was the one thing i did want to get good at but it's not really worth it right now sadly

DZ isn't even worth farming anymore, Countdown will net you more and better gear faster

Absolutely. I feel like if you have to run a meta build to enjoy a game, then the game is probably not the right one

As long as your build can do what you want it to be able to do, and most importantly: not drag your team down whilst doing it; you'll be fine.

If all else fails: drop it to Challenging and play Solo. You could use a stick with a frowny face duct-taped to it after a while on that difficulty.

There is no "one build to rule them all", as for example PVP builds and PvE builds wildly differ in their core distribution etc. You always need multiple loadouts in PvP to counter other people potentially aswell

Having too much armor will only make you kill much slower and in some cases enemies will overwhelm you easily, plus, using armor cores in groups doesn't attract aggro which will end up killing your full red DPS members

There's a limited total pool, with no chance of repeats.

coco looks at how many sources of damage killed the npc you marked and thats what determines how many stacks you get per kill. no damage skills solo, you need 35 kills to max stacks, with one damage skill you can max stacks in 18 kills since 2 sources of damage. if you use a turret and a drone, you can max in 12 kills. teamates and their skills also count as sources. so a team full of skill and weapon damage can have you stacked in 3 kills theoretically
