Off the bat they don't get a buff from OD.

Then if there down they don't get OD ammo. The uptime of OD working on conflict is low.

Also Armor Regen stats is pretty bad when you're all blue.

Yes bcus most players play it as a damage build and die and lose the rounds and basiclly have 2 restart gettibg more if i use it like tp marking as many players with od i can get hollow rounds from any player that dies that i marked that a teammated killed

Your first engagement you do half of what you're supposed to do... because you and your teammate don't have your OD ammo.

And don't forget they only get 1/2 of there mag size of HP rounds

so again not worth a lot in the end vs a healer support

You'll never see OD in pvp except for very very very very very very rare cases. Why? Regen/Hazpro has completely phased out status effects. Any old booster hive can negate status effects. Cavalier players exist, which share hazard protection. Cooler rifle gives hazpro too. God forbid they have 100k Regen with perfect efficient, they'll just wait for catharsis cloud to proc and they're immune. Or they'll run right back around the corner and pop a kit for 150% boosted Regen. They'll outlive your status no matter what.

Status builds in pvp only have a use when it applies to full skill builds that deal damage and have status effects (tier 6). Or they blow up

When the status effects come out, so do the counters. All division pvp is just a game of build-chess. Somebody throws cheese on, they'll pull out anti cheese. Then the next, and the next, and so on

Bleed at best is used with Vile setups. But most can say EMP works just as efficiently

1. you need to give up at least 4 secondary attributes which are more important than in PvE

2. most gear sets have talents that are not at all practical to use/proc in PvP

3. some gear sets have talents that have no use in PvP since PvP values DPS and Survivability above everything else

4. you lose brand set bonuses which are more important than in PvE

the only gear sets really viable in PvP are:
Umbra
Striker (DZ only)
Tipping Scales (DZ only)
Hard Wired
Heartbreaker (DZ only)
SysCo (Conflict mostly)
Measured Assembly
FI (DZ only)
Cavalier

Catharsis is really useful if you can take a lot of bullets

Problem: you don’t want to take a lot of bullets with Pesti since its burst damage is too low to face trade reliably

NBB with 2 Lengmo and 2 TS i’d avoid because yes your ticks would be higher with that setup but your burst damage would be much lower and you’d lose the backpack talent

I think my pesti build is still the old nbb+2lengmo+walker+contr+hb. Not sure if the hb is even the best pick but I just threw it on for the LMG dmg back in the days.
As for the bp-talent: I'm not saying you shouldn't. But I at least don't want to run Vigi on a mid to close range lmg build without a shield. There's just no uptime for it, unless you're lucky enough to always match people who don't shoot back at you. I'll gladly use Vigi on a Regu/sniper build tho. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

My biggest fear right now is the fact that cheaters have remained untouched. And with the game as simple as division 2, cheats are just going to continue to reign supreme. They need to figure out a really good way to prevent any sort of cheats from working. And this means that they need to start cracking down on tracking account stats. With division 2 being a paid access game, cheaters are already paying a good amount of money to pay for cheats. Eventually that money source is going to run low if they have to start buying new games / accounts that are just as expensive if not more than the game price itself. Remember there have been many of us that have continued to play through the many stages of hot mess the division 2 has been, from the glitches, crashes, constant onslaught of bugs and ofc the cheaters in pvp that have never really been dealt with even in the early days. it was the same in div 1 as well, a PVE darkzone just shouldn't be a thing as that was never its intended purpose. Its not negative to have that opinion when its shared amongst a good chuink of the community while alot of the minority make the loudest cry about wanting it.
Lets be honest the dz loot is average at best when it comes to drops and quality, the XP is poor at best and the lanmarks are no challange to even early game players. it has never been worth farming when there have always been better options, "Oh but i like the atmosphere of the darkzone" is not really a good enough reason to make a pve darkzone when they have 2 large as PVE maps that share the exact same atmostphere as the darkzone. Div 2 dz isnt the same like div 1 where it was dark and gloomy and stoodout compared to the lightzone.

@wet badger That’s exactly the kind of movement I’m talking about. It’s unnatural. Yes, you can do it on controller or mouse and keyboard, but that doesn’t mean it’s intended game mechanics. Even in the video he admits he’s repeatedly pressing the sprint button to keep those little bursts of speed, because if he doesn’t, the character loses momentum and drops back to normal sprint speed.

That alone shows the system is being manipulated. Your character shouldn’t be able to move that fast while making turns that sharp. Players are clearly exploiting the movement system to force behavior the game wasn’t designed for.

And to be clear, I’m not calling it a cheat or a hack. It’s an exploit. A cheat uses outside software, but an exploit is abusing a flaw in the game’s mechanics to gain an advantage. That’s exactly what this is.

If you have to spam sprint just to maintain unnatural speed and movement in a fight, that’s not skill — that’s exploiting the system. There are even players who take it further by using scripts or Cronus devices to make those movements even faster and more consistent.

When I was trying hard to learn the 180 cut on keyboard I just no matter what couldn't do it, but then I noticed that the lower your fps is the more forgiving your inputs can be spread out, capping the FPS to 60 or 80 made it super easy to do, and since consoles run at 60 I presume that's why it's so easy even though a controller can do it at any FPS which is an advantage on PC for the few that can actually aim too.

So I suppose one could argue that this particular 180 cut is unintended but the regular left or right cut from the first part of NBs video is absolutely normal intended behaviour.

heyo, big question about pvp: I've changed the core (now 4r, 3b, 1y) with ninja backpack, umbra and salvo. Now as for AR they've suggested capacitor (but the build was about yellows and such)... so question is, should I use a different AR (elmo's? till bighorn doesn't drop) or I can stick with capacitor and just care less about the effect not being stacked/used? Mostly the build is changing into a crit dps build rather than gadgets and co

Yeah well because it has stupendous rpm you can get away with it. Personally I usually run high armor builds for PvP but its dependant on what sort of player you are. I’m very aggressive and take a lot of dmg so I prefer that.

I hate the ninjabike I feel like its added such a weird dyamnic to builds

If you get a 3 blue attribute roll you get an extra 1.5% regen with the new mask in PvP so you’ll be able to make 5.5% regen builds

you get 55% fro watch, attribute rolls and weapon mods, you only need 1 more gear mod to get to 60% so you basically lose 12% chd for 5% more armor and 5% more damage from p. spotter

Obviously 5% wpn damage is good but the 5% armor is near useless adds like 100k

Which is half of a crit for most builds so its like a debate between 5% wpn dmg or 2% chc 12chd.

Either way i like how it is for flanking on conflict does the job theirs way better builds out there I just dont have shit

Nvm I get what you’re saying Unit Alloy backpack. But how? I get 20% dmg from 2 UA and 10% from fenris on my current build. With closer I’d only get +5 & the 20.
