The first key event in the lore happens in 1984, where Mr. Peterson (Ted) builds his First theme park, the Bosco Bay, which has a mummy ride that the park's owners never approved of. The ride happens to kill a boy named "Joe", and Joe's sister Jen tries to find out about this and eventually does, Ted seems to die at the end of this GN that starts the lore but we all know Mr.Peterson is alive and well

For me personally, I mostly like the alphas, act 1 and 3 of the first game, and the hello neighbor 2 beta is (mostly) alright

Act 2 and the finale of the first game aren’t really memorable imo

Lore and story wise, everything before and during act 1 (mostly) makes sense

I’ve only recently jumped back into hello neighbor

I was into it during the end of elementary and early middle school

I’m in high school now so a lot of the memories of my theories have kinda faded

I still played the game every now and then though, but it was more just me speedrunning it for fun lol

Most of my theories were centered around pre act 1, act 1, and a bit after act 1 tho

The only theories I did for the other acts were mostly what years they may have taken place in

I don’t remember exactly, but act 1 and act 2 take place in the mid 90’s, and act 3 is most likely the early 2000’s
