Oh my little one, I can see very clearly lol. In GN2 a theory popped into a few people’s heads. What if the Guest is a creature that posseses the neighbor? Well, the new screenshot proves that the guest is not possesing the neighbor and is a seperate person. GN2 brings up the concept of time travel and reset day only supports it, so it is likely a neighbor from another timeline.

The only way it could be a creature posessing him, is if this is before the guest does it, which explains why the neighbor is in his backyard and not the museum. BUT, this is incorrect because the guest is obviously a man with a wooden beak and sweater, and the police have already came as the light is a light from the police department. The neighbor needs to do something back at his house though.

Hello Neighbor Hide and Seek featured different themed levels, and anything from that game must have relevance one way or another. I can only guess that Maritza and possibly others if they have a similar animal that they like could mean something in the first level.
