Theory on the Diary:

I think mith is the diary writer because Nikita has said that he is there observing, Also we know Quentin is probably not the writer because he has pictures of himself which would make no sense. It also makes sense that he is observing for whatever he is doing and in hello neighbor 2 it would work because he was observing from the start and would be able to piece the entire story together. It also makes sense why he would have pictures of the guest or Quentin because these people are there to help him connect a story. Just my thoughts though

In response to ZPEFM's counter argument in #cc-discussion :
If he isn't real how is he the guest? That would mean the guest isn't real, which doesn't make sense because if HGA2 isn't scrapped, then we have seen MITH and Guest fight. Also, fake Neighbor ending was technically scrapped since it went unused and was found in the files and unused. And just because they have a model ready doesn't mean that it's still gonna be used. Think about HN1, with Pre Alpha Man, and how they cut him, or Fake Neighbor who had an (almost) full model made then was used once. Also the letimotif theory could just be whenever something paranormal / bad happens or whenever an antagonist appears.
