I’ve read a few of the books and honestly I don’t even think their canon. The games contradict a lot of stuff that happens in the books. The books portray mr. Peterson as this abusive father and the Peterson family is all kinds of jacked up but in the games (specifically hide and seek) he is portrayed as a kind and loving father. The books also mention how in act 1 of the game it was a stormy night in which Nicky broke in the house. In the game it looks like a nice summer day. So I find it hard to believe that this man with broad shoulders and big arms is the same guy as the skinny bird dude. It also helps that there ware promotional images of these two characters standing in the same exact area.

Look the books aren’t always canon to games. Halo the fall of reach told the story of well, the fall of reach but then was retconned when halo reach was made. Even the fnaf books aren’t necessarily canon. So it shouldn’t be hard to believe that these book are simply not in the same timeline as the games. If mr. Peterson was infact the guest then how does his entire body change once in the costume? And why is there an image of him with the guest in the back ground lurking in the shadows which is a dead giveaway away that these aren’t the same people?

Joe in Bosco Bay (Killed after being thrown out of his roller coaster cart on a sharp turn), 4 Unnamed People (Killed via their log on a water ride flipping over, drowning them), and Lucy Yi (Killed by her cart being launched off of the tracks and I think into a tree)

But he denies any of it being his fault, and instead pushes the blame onto his son being a bad omen, despite the fact that Joe in Bosco Bay died before Aaron was even born.

And that's just the accidental deaths he's caused with his rides, he's done LOADS of bad stuff! But people wanna make him seem like a good guy bc

They somehow escape (we'll know once they finish the stupid update) and then are stuck in a time loop in their town unable to leave and one is kidnapped while the others can't do much to help.
