I get engine updates needing better computers, but my pc can run the other HN games perfectly fine, even HNVR.

Imo, it's the opposite. It's mainly the new players which can't really do much against the neighbor since they haven't learned entierly how to play. But as soon as the neighbor fights at least a couple people that play often (such as tornado badges) the whole thing becomes hard for the neighbor.

Theres even a problem with normal screen recording, you record normally with no microphone mode and theres a high chance there wont be sound. And when someone is using voice chat. The game doesn’t pick up, it didnt used to be like that 😭
