-She can have another chance with her break out ability, so if she gets caught she can have another chance instead of dying (if the ability is full)

Great counter against basement campers. But I feel like that’s less likely to work against a Clown and Guest user because a Clown neighbor would just stay still as a prop and wouldn’t be willing to move until they see a player on sight, while the Guest would stay camping on the wall or ceiling until they see someone next to the basement and once again, seen on sight.

The point is that your meant to chase them down to have fun, not a standing still game.

Like I've played for... 1500hrs on this game. When I was still enjoying playing quick games it was fun chasing the kids down. But if you ever needed to camp (which a barely did and mostly not at basement) the whole game just becomes super boring.

And like a funny thing when I was playing Otto. When you start flickering the lights in a room with the sonar, everyone just hops into the closet. Does not work with sweats or tryhards, but casual players just go hide in them.

I’m probably like one of the very few good and competitive players that use closets. Like most people don’t realize how BENEFICIAL that is

Especially that it’s recently updated where you can simply hold the button to hide in it quickly

It’s crazy to think about how many strategies there is in this game that people barely use like taking shortcuts (if you know the map well) to avoid the neighbor or catch kids while you are the neighbor, use emotes to distract the neighbor or lead kids to different places, use objects as another way to detonate the smoke trap instead of looking for the button, break through windows to leave a room if a neighbor is chasing you, and I can go on and on.
