100% true. And also being the last kid and still making to the basement is always something to be proud of especially with what neighbor it is. See I did that with a pro butcher, I always had a sauce pan on hand and I some how was able to hide the keys by the door so that way I was able to make 2 toy rifles and find the original. Since I was inventor it was difficult to find keys unlike detective, but I focused and still hit victory. That butcher player trash talked me after and I hit him with the solid gg.

im ngl, the game was starting to get stale before then, but there was definitely some hope to cling on to, as long as they had improved on the things that needed fixing and changing

But the Halloween 2023 single-handled tarnished most, if not all, of the potential the game had before then. It was such a bad, rushed, unpolished update that it made me want to stay away from the game because it was literally unplayable, or just unbearable to play. It really showed how uncertain the game's future was. The thing with SN, is that we never really knew what exactly was coming to the game, even with roadmaps and such, every update always had it's uncertainty. But Halloween 2023 really showed us that even the developers, even the publishers, didn't really know what to do next with the game. And now we're left with a game that is in a bad state, has long-term players leaving, and with an extremely uncertain future ahead of it.
And when you have long-term players leaving your game, that's when the game dies. You could argue that this game has been dead for years, but there are arguments that can say otherwise, especially with the game still receiving support, updates, etc. If you struggle to retain your long-term players to play the game, imagine how it is for keeping new players' attention.
This game still has some potential, but it's dying off more and more as time goes on. I want this game to succeed, hell I've been supporting this game for about 3-4 years now, but it's getting harder and harder to defend the choices the developers and TB are making because they are really hurting this game's success. Like, this game was suppose to be marketed as a "social horror multiplayer game that utilizes stealth", yet the game fails to mimic that what they marketed as, and instead the gameplay is so different from that said marketing

This is the main reason why I haven't played since last year. When I first bought the game in 2022 the game was marketed as a social horror deduction game, it still had its flaws (as it always has) but was generally fun and I was playing the game how it was marketed. And then in 1 update the entire direction of the game was shifted, in a way that I and many other players did not agree with. And so now I can't enjoy the game I bought, because the game I bought is completely different from the game now
That being said I will still continue to follow development (at least for now) because I made a lot of memories in this game, but it won't be the same. I miss getting excited for updates
