Look, SN's code is not very good to say the least. I mean, I've seen bits of it and it's bit rough to say the least. Remaking the game will allow the developers to properly fix the core issues of the game, one of them being the bugs and technical issues. But are they willing to do that? Maybe, but for the most part, it's probably a "No."

They could do like a Secret Neighbor relaunch. They could put the game in a fairly balanced state for the time being so players at least have something just ok to play while they rework the entire game. While they are remaking the game they could take feedback from the community on what they wanted to see changed and added to the game so then after like around a year, the game has a relaunch with most mechanics being reworked and some new mechanics/content, as well as a nee trailer and marketing so more people play the relaunched game

And along the way have monthly Q&As so the devs can keep the playerbase engaged on their dev process

debuff to stamina regeneration and stamina efficiency, damage done to kids, and his abilities suffer a 10% longer cool-down.
(Affects that debuff the Neighbor cannot stack if the Neighbor is currently tormented)

However, due to her super-natual abilities, it causes everyone to suffer. Kids gain the "Fear" effect, and the power in the house
will automatically go out, lights can only be turned back by reaching the Power Switch around the house. During this time, the Kids'
range of vision is decreased by 15%, and their movement speed is decreased by 4%. The effects for both the Neighbor and the
Kids will automatically be removed after 15 seconds.

Cool-down: 40 seconds
(This ability will go on cool-down after the effects for both sides are removed)

Because the nuts lock on to the target

I would never be able to do this normally

I fired 9 successful quick shots on a moving target, then I turned off aim assist, and out of 10 shots I only hit 3
