having clues be hidden in subtle ways is a fun idea on paper, but not everybody will be willing to look for those details and that is not a good way to keep hopes high in your community

and that's entirely fair, but they should have been upfront about that instead of leaving players in the dark on how much progress they've even made on the update

i think most of the community agrees that while the events are a fun side distraction, they should not be the main focus of new content and updating the actual base game that we experience every match is far more important

the snow thief event did take some time to solve, but what about the actual game? that didn't get any major additions aside from inventor getting a couple new toys to play with, and those aren't as game changing as people thought they would be

That's also true, they focus so hard on those secrets that they forgot to polish and update the base game.

the first event mayak is a good example of how SN events should work, it's not immediately obvious but it isn't drawn out either and has good spectacle whilst not taking a lot of time and still rewarding players for working together

anyways, I think the mayak event is a good example of how to do an event right. The numbered levers are details you easily notice while playing the game regularly, but they do a good job tempting your curiosity by making you want to discover their purpose.

rocket event is pretty good too, while it has the problem of being a bit drawn out and hard to solve, it's still very contained and doesn't matter a whole lot to the story so it's just something that you can do for fun if you feel like having something else to do with SN

here you can see a bear trap placed within less than 30 seconds of the game starting, if you wanna say "well maybe the timer was set to 30 minutes" neither of the level 1 keycard doors in the foyer were open and the neighbor wasn't known at that point in the match, and i'd doubt that he stayed in disguise for 15 minutes lol
