i was the last kid in a match and i had the last key. the neighbor was a guest and they were camping the basement door. i was thinking of what to do for a solid minute before i had the worlds best idea.

i would stand in a doorway leading to the room the guest was camping in to bait the guest to use his leap ability to catch me faster.

i would dodge the guest so he would leap way past me.

and then i would run through the door and block it behind me with a chair

then while the guest was desperately trying to break down the door i would unlock the door and win.

and it felt AMAZING to pull off.

i baited that guest so hard he practically hit his head on the wall

Is there a legitimate way to throw cancel or something so that you can fire like 3 snowballs per second consistently (12 in a row)?

usually its because of being able to instantly grab another item and charge up their throw which doesnt take long

and with items like boxes or presents having good collision to make contact with your hitbox

but the snow you can quickly make snowballs very fast even if it doesnt do alot of damage it is hell for any other class besides scary neighbor

yeah the way it works right now is that after a certain amount of time the key indicator goes away, or it goes away when that color of key is not needed to open the basement anymore.

it should only go away when the key color is not needed because when you activate the ability and get in a fight with the neighbor by the time you are done fighting the indicator is gone.

i personally think intuition should just be replaced, new players aren't gonna be able to get it due to their lack of skill with field intel and experienced players won't get much value out of it since they already know how to use field intel effectively

You said "fairly quickly". Can you contextualize that?
What are the specific inputs? Can you demonstrate it?

Maybe you just didn't watch the video, but nothing you've said makes it seem legit.
Here's the message link, again. Notice the player is able to throw 7 snowballs, actually, in under one second. Only 6 are visible because it's 24.5 fps, but you can see the landings.

I know some games, like Ninja Gaiden and Zelda II have special inputs that allow you to get extra strikes in a short period of time. Those are easy to describe.

the 6 snowballs is the snowball collision being messy, simply dropping the snowball will make it look like its been thrown but it isnt destroyed
fairly quickly is being able to quickly either grab another item next to them or being able to grab the box after it lands on the ground, back then you could pick up an item mid air allowing box spamming and item spamming to be easily abused making it easy to kill neighbor players
and the only input really is just E for picking up and right click to charge up your throw really quick

The grab motion actually prevents players from being able to 'quickly grab' so I'm wondering what process you're using--are there specific inputs?

You literally cannot pick items up that quickly. For example, as a bagger, if you go to pick up three items, it takes a second because of the animation frames.

That's why I was thinking there might be an easy way to get rid of a lot of cheaters. The same way Rust bans flyhackers and League of Legends prevents injection code from reaching their servers, they could set some concrete timers and just ban people who violate them or actually prevent it from happening and not need to ban anyone.

I want the Secret Neighbor spooky update where they add things that make the game more stealth and more horror and fear

I doubt they will do that, we've been asking since beta I think when the transformation sounds were very loud

I don't find the game very scary mainly because most people try hard and because I'm just really used to the game. However I will say I don't like clowns, to me the clown is actually kind of scary especially when you see and item move slightly and then he pops out. The guest also is very creepy because of his design and animation, as well as his leap

Scary and butcher is were it gets ruined, because they are more combat classes

The horror kind if gets over ridden because you are focused on long fights

Also the fact that most clowns are really sweaty players

Also neighbor skins

Like for example some neighbor skins don't look scary, like for example the summer update skin has the neighbor in a beach outfit

That is not scary

I don't think neighbor skins were the best idea
