To anyone wondering why Prototype 3 is taking so long. I'm gonna give my thoughts on why it might be taking a while based on what we know and can infer to maybe help people understand.
It's the first iteration of the full game map so it's a lot more thoughtfully constructed and detailed compared to the other two.
(Not including the forest dweller) This build has 8 characters compared to prototype 1 and 2 which only had 3 so that definitely explains why it's taking so long.
(I don't know if this is true or not) I think Prototype 3 is the first build that's going to properly implement the butterfly effect idea and I can imagine testing that must take so darn long.

Basically, to sum it up. It seems like Prototype 3 is building up the foundation for the full game. Each build from there will mainly be increasing the content and things to do so I can imagine the rest of the builds potentially not taking as long for them to make.
