I think the price updates have been decent so far but it'd be really nice for players to be able to earn the credits through playing, even if it's a small amount so that buying the stuff is still incentivesed to give the Devs the monetary compensation they deserve for the work, but then you don't HAVE to buy to get it, you CAN just play the game enough to support it that way too

I've been super frustrated trying to find the yorai. Target is not ordering alot, and the shelf is always empty aside from some 4in 3fig packs and tons of Mantis. only yorai I've seen are online for 50+

It was actually run by a 3rd party "sprigg". All the Targets in my area failed to even put the display out...or maintain stock of wanted items. The only qualifying items stocked were $30-$40 sets.
If you want it now you can try some sellers. FB ebay etc. Usually around $25 US.
But if you don't mind waiting, 343 made a statement sometime ago that the promotion skins would eventually be made available again. No idea when though.

Like the redesign. Price wise coatings should be no more than 200 (at legendary level).

Single armor items should be no more that 300(at legendary level) a piece.

Sets can be up to 1000-900 but they should come with at least helmet, attachment, chest, shoulders, visor. Swap for visor could be the different armor sections.

Again weapon skins no more than 400 (at legendary level)
And should typically come in a buy one-get it for all system.

I guess its an unpopular opinion. I put like 400-ish hours on MW, and warzone. So I felt that the ~$100 I spent in store purchases was warrant of the time I got in the game. Though, I do also see the point in paying your $60 and getting.... more than what they're currently giving you.

More than likely whats happened is. The community people gave the players feedback to the board. The board said, "we can make a 10% reduction to the store items, take it or leave it." and then they said, separate the bundles to make the items a more opportunistic purchase. As far as I'm aware, you can only find wave 4 through Targets and third party sellers.

Considering that the Walgreens exclusive Chief and GameStop exclusive two pack has labels on the boxes listing them as exclusives, it would suggest that wave 4 aren't Target exclusives, but I have yet to see or hear them being released anywhere else. Walgreens somewhat recently listed wave 3 on their site, so there's probably an extremely slim chance wave 4 will be seen at Walgreens AKA Target exclusive figures lmao

Would make sense. If I can recall, Target also got wave 2 pretty early compared to other retailers. My fear is that collecting figures and whatnot in general has grown increasingly more difficult in the last couple years and I find that often times when I don't go ahead and purchase as soon as possible, they're just gone. This mostly applies to Hasbro's Star Wars stuff and Mega Construx in my experience though.

I'm struggling to find wave 3 outside of Target, however, and that wave has been out for a long while now. Then again, I'm not actively hunting for them since I was lucky enough to get them all in one Target visit.

How can they make a noble 6 action figure literally the default Reach character? Always made no sense to me.

As someone themed as "ambiguous" because it was suppose to be you as the main character. Really seems like a dumb decision to just market them as the default armor. When each other member has such unique identity.

You say Noble Six and Reach's plain grey default noncharacter is what comes to mind.

It's just something Six was doomed to being from the start, I think. Even in spite of Bungie's intention to have them act as a player insert, they just have too much of their own story written out for them for people to really merge their OC Spartans into it.

The game did so many things right for it's time.

The challenges, and credit system had me constantly enjoying all aspects of the game. Campaign, Firefight, MP.

Imo, the issue is that all the items I n the same line (ex. Spartan series) hase the exact same UPC. Retailers can't tell the difference in stock, digitally so they don't bother listing them online or if they have any.

I'd probably say the series 2 release. Fixes a lot of the production and fitting issues that the original series 1 release had without the bizarre joint revisions done for series 3 and onwards.
Though it also depends on what deco you're looking for, since the series 1/2 release is much closer to how he was depicted in early pre-delay Infinite promotional media.

Late to the conversation, but I personally would go for the Walgreens exclusive Chief if you're able to find one or are willing to spend like an extra ten bucks on eBay. The shade of green, the battle damage, and the Energy Sword altogether makes for a pretty great Chief figure. I understand that one is a bit difficult to come by, so the other Chief I prefer would probably be series 4 Chief. Series 4 Chief is the same green as the Walgreens' version minus a majority of the battle damage and Energy Sword, but comes with a more detailed Assault Rifle compared to series 1 and 2 Chiefs.
My problems with series 1 and 2 Chiefs, both nearly identical, is the shade of green being pretty light as well as the battle damage looking like someone grabbed a silver Sharpie and scribbled all over them. Series 3 Chief comes with a Grappleshot molded onto his arm as well as a Grappleshot accessory for playability and posing him in a hanging/grappling position, but the reflective visor is absent from this version.

No worries. But yeah, if preorders are still live and available for the GameStop two pack, I think that'd be the one to get honestly. If you're a display in box kind of guy, that one will probably be very hard to get for a reasonable price in the future. If you prefer opening them up, it'd still be neat to get both CE and Infinite versions of Chief. The one downside is that we have no idea how much longer until they finally ship out.
