I built the Infinity over the course of... almost a week? Probably somewhere in the ballpark of 5-6 days.
Think I probably spent anywhere between 45 minutes to an hour and a half on each day to get it finished.
Pelican was pretty similar the first time around, though I think that might've only taken me 4 days.

Because I really don't see where you'd ever get one for less than $100 USD.
The LCE includes everything from the CE release in addition to the statue.
So just subtracting the prices ($249.99 - $99.99) already puts the statue by itself at a supposed value of $150.
And I'm pretty sure you'd be lucky to find it sold on its own for anywhere near that.
Quite frankly 100 EUR seems to be a pretty decent price before accounting for shipping.

picked up the mega construx building box, managed to find a way to make the troop bay hatch of my pelican more game accurate, it now has an upper door as well which has that little window you can look through using one of the transparent stand bricks, way cooler than the single piece in my opinion, nice building box

the spartan collection chief, i hope that's the new one, since that one apparently has less "loose" joints compared to their initial release, which wasn't a big issue since they were strong enough, just felt looser than they should be. but yeah, the bigger ones have slightly more articulation and the reflective visor
i also think the newer version should have its joint pins colored green instead of black, but if it's not, that might be something you want to paint
as well as the black paint on the lowest part of the chest armor, don't know why they did that, since it's not on any of the chief models

The sandbox team wanted a lower impact, higher ROF shotgun and I’d imagine the Bulldog’s design was influenced by those core ideas and developed by referencing actual automatic shotguns.

Like, there's plenty of toys based off of shows, films or games where they used an earlier version of a design to make the toy because that was what the reference material they were given shows

Pretty sure Mcfarlane had their inaccuracies too, same with Joyride (I mean did you see Halo 2 Cheif his face L O N G) The company isn't going to spent thousands of dollars to make another master mold because something was slightly changed. Some companies might, but I dont think Jazwares is that much profitable that they can whip out a new mastermold every 5 seconds.

As an Armada fan, I have to ask: what happened to the Halo Fleet Battle games? I'd love to play that. Doesn't seem like it exists anymore. What's the deal? Anyone know?

Spartan Games, the company that developed and produced Fleet Battles and Ground Command, shut down a few years back.
Both tabletop games pretty much went down with them. Might be able to find some fan groups trying to keep them going but it’ll probably be a bit of a challenge, especially since the miniatures aren’t being manufactured anymore.
