At this rate, that goes for ALL Halo toylines and merchandise, especially the retro stuff.

I don't except things to get any better with the 25th anniversary merchandise next year. Especially now that Target is finally getting rid of the Mega Bloks section in their stores for more Lego space and Walmart still planning on removing/shrinking the Xbox sections in their stores nationwide later this year.

I see merchandise from cult franchises like Godzilla, TMNT, and Aliens far more in stores even at GameStop than I do Halo in the last 3 years.

You best bet it to look online for stuff as Halo is slowly becoming a direct-to-consumer online only brand now solely targeted at super collectors. Like the Jazwares Vault, Dark Horse Direct, Youtooz, or Xbox Gear Shop online stores. Or try your luck with the 2nd hand market like eBay or Facebook Marketplace where you have to be careful for your research to make sure you get a good deal/complete product.

This is not an unrealistic number considering they said they bought tools as well as materials. My first suit build was similar where I had to buy tools along the way. It took about $1500 and 18 months. Subsequent suits have cost less. As my skills have grown, so I make less mistakes and I have the proper tools to build them.

"Bad Artstyle" is far too dismissive of the work put into those games. Halo 5 is the only game they put out with what I would call a genuinely bad story, H4, HW2, and Halo Infinite's stories all are at the very least "solid enough".

Also Halo 4's decline in multiplayer population can be largely owed to the fact that it was competeting with two other Halo games on the same system, one of which only came out 2 years earlier

Would the game had been better, hard to say. However, the sales would had been lower because A) The Xbox One's 2013 reveal that already turn away a lot of gamers away from Xbox and B) I think it would had caused even more backlash to Halo 4 than what it already got. As players would have to buy a new $500 console and take a bigger risk on a new developer without a proven track record.

The benefits of waiting for a sale. I got a lot of Infinite stuff for dirt cheap in 2022 (largely thanks to Infinite and the TV show hurting Halo merchandise sales and demands).

Like I got the 1000 Toys $180 Infinite Chief for $70, $15 Master Chief glasses for $5, Razor $60 Infinite mouse and mouse pad for $25 each, and the Razer Infinite $160 keyboard for $40 at a clearance sale at GameStop in August 2022.

I was directed here for further help, but I attended HCS Worlds and purchased the World Championship hat on Friday. Once I got back to my hotel I packed it up, and went about my weekend. I returned home Monday night, and unpacked everything Tuesday, just to find out my hat was stitched wrong. I don’t really know if this is the right channel but I am hoping to get it exchanged. I’ll also attach the picture of the hat to show where it was not right, as the third star is instead a blob. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Halo is no longer in the same place as it was pre-Infinite and retailers have a lot less faith in Halo now given many like Walmart & Target stop selling Halo toys & merchandise due to poor sales in 2020 to 2022 thanks to Infinite's delay and the hype for Infinite & the Halo brand (the TV show and retro game merchandise) dying down in 2022/2023.

So I won't be surprised if they will be Amazon online exclusives like The Floodgate Mega Bloks set was or if it's just 1 or 2 sets. Instead of getting a full lineup in stores like the 10th anniversary line in 2011 that had over 20 sets made just for the Halo Mega Bloks toyline.

These were sold in Toys R Us in 2011 for Gears of War 3's release. They didn't sell well enough to get past Wave 1. But that's also because Gears of War vehicles are not really toyetic and iconic enough to sell to kids while also appealing to adult model collectors like Halo and Star Wars do. Even Call of Duty Mega Bloks sets sold better as at least those are based on real military vehicles, which appeals to kids wanting G.I. Joe-like army toys and adult military enthusiast/history buff model collectors.

Had they did a few of the Locust monsters it might had done a bit better, though historically villian toys normally don't sell well as hero toys.

The Halo 2 figure pack is really cool, but I do have three major complaints-
1.) Johnson's face looks terrible. Especially given how much better he has looked in other sets
2.) I think the set misses out on a few notable elements of Halo 2. Thel is not in his Arbiter armor, there is no Refumee, and they missed the chance to include a Jackal sniper
3.) This one is very specific to me; for whatever reason the Red Multiplayer Spartan's hands are messed up and can't hold things properly

Even so we never seen off season Halo merchandise being taken off of store shelves like this before. Under the off years when no new Halo game is released, we did got a pretty good line up of sets and figure to find in stores like the Fall 2013 lights & sounds/REAP-X line or the 2019 Halo Mega Bloks 10th anniversary sets.

Much in the same vain of the Lego Jurassic Park sets getting at least 3 or 5 sets each year when no new movie or TV show is coming out.

Especially since this drop off effected Jazwares too. Which that combined with Halo focused more on online-only limited time products more suggests the series is losing public interest and refocusing to be a niche collector's only market. Much in the same vain as most cult following IPs and retro game memorabilia like Mass Effect, Doom, etc.

I don't know what stores you've had, but all the Walmarts and Targets in my area stopped stocking Mega in-between game releases even back during the Halo 4 and 5 days. Was lucky to find anything in ToysRUs. Then there are companies like BoomCo and Nerf that only released a short range of products on-release and then stepped away. And like I said, under normal circumstances. Lego's ensured this was definitely not a normal circumstance. They're extremely shady against competitors and I suspect played a noteworthy part in Mega's shutdown proper.

My Walmart and Targets consistently had carry almost every Halo Mega Bloks set released since 2009 for Target and 2010 for Walmart. My local Walmarts and Targets stop carrying any Halo merchandise since 2023 with the last being the Mega Bloks Spring 2023 Hornet.

I still find it very annoying Mega Bloks largely refuse to put non-boxed and under $10 Halo products on Amazon as that is by far the most reliable and cheapest platform to get Halo Mega Bloks sets since the line's start in 2009. Especially with the last few Heroes and blind bag series.

Mega never had a online store as they always operated as a brick and mortar retail operation like most toy companies in the 90s. Which is part of reason they really struggled to adapt in the late 2010 and the 2020s as they stayed in the 90s mindset instead of the more e-commerce minded modern world. Which is strange they didn't work out a deal with Amazon for the Halo Mega Bloks until 2023 when it was far too late when in the past Mega Bloks made Amazon exclusive toylines like the Mega Bloks Terminator line.

Unless there's a Halo Mattel Brick Shop showcase at New York Toyfair this weekend, then no.

The Mega brand has been dissolved into just the Mega Bloks pre-school brand while Mattel Brick Shop takes up the teen/adult collectors brand. If you want to get some Halo sets, best to get the ones on Amazon that are still in stock at MSRP or lower because most of the 2023 and 2024 sets are being retired.

Jazwares just finished their 2026 New York Toyfair showcase. No Halo at all, just Stranger Things, Star Wars, FNAF, and AEW.

I don't think Mattel showed any Halo or Mattel Brick Shop stuff either, all I saw was He-Man, Jurassic World, WWE, and Kpop Demon Hunters.

Unless there's a surprise at SDCC in July, I don't think there's going to a mass merchandise line at physical retailers for Halo this Summer/Fall. As normally Toyfair is where Walmart and Target do their orders for their Summer and Fall stockings.

I was hoping for at least announcement if Jazwares renewed the Halo license or showcase some Spartan Collection reissues like at last year's Toyfair.

There's a big difference from Halo and Xbox were pre-Infinite and post-Infinite as it was reported Halo merchandising sales were below expections that Walmart and Target stores were canceled orders in late 2022 for Halo 2023 products that were mass produced and were in the middle of being shipped.

Very similar situation to Trendmasters with their Godzilla 1998 toyline. Where from 1991 to 1998 Trendmasters was Godzilla's best selling toyline until the 1998 toyline for the American Godzilla reboot flopped resulting in Walmart cannceled orders for all future Trendmasters Godzilla toys which bankrupt the company. Result in Godzilla going to being an Toys 'R Us exclusive toyline and an online only adult collectors line between 2000 to 2014.

Realistically speaking, I only see Halo as online-only, collector focused franchise like Mass Effect, Star Trek, and Priates of the Caribbean instead of mass retail brand like it was from 2008 to 2022.

Mega stop production of new sets for all toylines in Summer 2024 as Mega's manufacturing plant in China was shutdown. Resulting in the complete cancelation of all Mega Bloks products for the Fall 2024 lineup including Halo, Xbox, Pokémon, and Hot Wheels.

The Halo products you see at CVS, which Target owns, and Kroger are just left over stock from Target and Walmart's old 2021 to 2023 stock they couldn't clearance out, as Mega stop all productions of Heroes and Blind Bag figures in Summer 2023. Or in Kroger's case, stock from the canceled Walmart & Target orders for the Spring 2023 line as Kroger has a more direct relationship to Mega than most small local retailers in the US.

As of now, Mattel is trying to get rid of all remaining Mega Bloks 2023 & 2024 Halo, Fallout, Skyrim, Xbox, Godzilla x Kong, and Squid Games products. Since Most of those products are officially discontinued as Mattel wants to focus all efforts to Mattel Brick Shop.

I know The Domain, who was part of the Mega Bloks' Partnership Program, said a lot of the Halo Mega Bloks sets for Infinite and the 2022-2024 Halo Universe line were not selling well. Which was why Target and Walmart were canceling orders and clearancing Halo products in early 2023 and why Mega was doing more Amazon exclusive deals in 2023 & 2024.

Series 3 was limited to pre-order only. Apparently Series 1 & 2 didn't sold the high numbers the company expected and were left with a lot of unsold stocks.

Still upset with them not shipping my Arbiter figure after ordering it in November but they manage to ship the 343 Guilty Spark and Recon figures I ordered on the same day.

If you want Youtooz figures, I recommend ordering them from Amazon or an eBay listing as those are somehow more reliable than the Youtooz online store.

They are as bad as Limited Run Games in taking your money and run while not fulfilling orders if the item is in low demand.

Funny how Lego also generally try to even avoid World War 2 or any display of military stuff.

Like how the RDA got no guns or sole sets for the Avatar line. The 2023 Indiana Jones line only had 1 World War 2 themed set, which they only did because there's not a lot scenes from Last Crusade with both Indy and his dad to make toys of for under $50.

Interesting how they are doing a Godzilla set, a franchise deeply rooted in World War 2 and Cold War politics made by World War 2 vets and 2 convicted war criminals.
