Why can native white play with their coach and keep pools, but luminosity can't do the exact same?

When there is no open bracket to slow things down.
What are we missing here? Why do 4 teams get axed so fast?

This is what I find strange. Any FGC tournament can run 7-12 streams at a time with a tenth of the budget, on top of running brackets of hundreds, if not thousands of players

It seems strange that you can't just have streaming stations that people can be seated at that will stream to HCS red, blue, regular, halo, etc.

It's basically a lock for Shopify - even if they don't place 1-2 in the qualifier, I don't think anyone else really has enough points to overtake them enough.

N8V White though will need to perform in the online qualifier - either taking 1-2 or placing well enough to avoid a lower team from gaining points on them.

Simple enough win condition for them. Only issue would be if two teams were to qualify not named G1/SR. Then N8V can get hosed. Unlikely though.

C9 won't break up because of optic. I'd be insanely surprised if they did. I bet they would have brought a series against optic to game 5 for how they were playing. As of right now I think the teams that will have roster mania would be anyone at or below t11. G1 have a solid team and with Eli as an analyst it would be insanely stupid to breakup. Col could have roster mania but they looked pretty good.

I think most teams realize that roster changes alone won't make you better at this point. It's grinding it out and putting work in.

Typically it’s by points, otherwise points mean very little, which is not good for the whole HCS. Sometimes it will be a combination of qualifier is seeds 1-2 and then by points or something. That is how it was for Dreamhack and Optic immediately all complained about it.
