If I really wanted to, I could port modern custom NPC characters into Halo 3, or even recreate something like Ravenholm inside Halo 3. The tools and creativity are there.
The only thing holding me back is the lack of a proper custom mod browser. As a modder, I don’t create things just to play them alone. I want other people to experience them too. I want the community to jump in, explore the maps, and enjoy the work the same way I do. Right now, sharing large scale custom content feels limited. My dream features for MCC would be: A full custom mod browser Proximity voice chat Increased player count limits option because the maps we build are massive, I even ported over blackmesa half life into halo 3 and rejectedshotgun create huge maps but 16 players is not good enough. They’re designed for more players, maybe 70 players?, bigger battles, and social interaction. Without those features, the full potential of community creations can’t truly shine. There is so much untapped potential here. Give modders the tools to share properly, and MCC could evolve into something even bigger than it already is. Let the community build the future of Halo. I know 343i/halo studios do talk about halo mcc because there was a recent update with halo mcc so they should able to do it 🙂

There’s a Discord server called “Halo Mods” I think also seen some 343 Industries employees actively engaging in that server they do care about the community.
