So they currently exist in a superposition of potential, but Glasslands did confirm that the surviving members of Gamma were folded into the Spartan Operations branch, while others assumed "non-combatant" roles, which I presume to mean things like working as infiltrators and agents for ONI, e.g. the Ferrets

They are gorgeously designed vessels deserving of a refit for continued service, or at least a successor model like the Autumn-class cruiser

my biggest concern with campaign evolved (based of reach blam and AI) is that it will end up play like a weird frankensteinish mix of halo 1 and reach, like the thing is that halo reach has by far the slowest movement acceleration speed and the AI was tuned for it.
CE in constrast is the fastest halo with both the player and the AI being really agile, you can see it with the elites and hunters which melee moves them by like 3 meters, and since the lvl design and encounter design are 1 to 1 with CE it might not work the best.
Then there s the fact that the game "seems" to be tuned for no sprint which isn t really true since reach wasn t tuned for no sprint, that game feels way more sluggish than the trilogy games and CE mainly.

Also elite AI never looked right in the demo.
