So idk if anyone else is having this issue but it seems to be frequent on my end. When loading into a match you get that loading screen. The one where it kinda tours the map a bit and the announcer tells you the game mode. Lately I've been stuck in that infinite loop. The first time it happened i spent probably 7 minutes in that screen. Even after the text showing the map name, mode, time limit all that stuff had disappeared. It just keeps touring the map. I end up leaving the match when this happens because i don't understand what else i could do. (I didn't see a "help" chat so i didn't know where to post this)

I've had it a few times, and I think its when a player doesn't load (e.g. disconnecting from the server mid join in, but I may be wrong) it can be annoying but I don't think there's a fix really

I’d rather real rewards be in passes but it sucks that I only have 7 left, used to get enough of them frequently enough between gamepass perks and battle passes to use them pretty flippantly.

But, challenges are at least much more reasonable now so I don’t really mind much haha

I can definitely see the appeal of that, and for sure that's a large segment of the player population. But as we've seen confirmed by multiple businesses who are successful at making money at f2p games, there is also a large segment of people whose time is more precious than dollars and/or who find the satisfaction of a digital item to be worth the shop price. It would be cool if the yappening event was about getting grunt seeds that you can drop in the map somewhere, and an evil grunt climbs out of the ground and attacks those nearby. Maybe the skies can turn dark as well, with neon green lighting. Haters will hate on these ideas of course.

this isn't a completely equivalent comparison. the shop items aren't attainable via grinding, you have to purchase them. you're not saving time in this case. in general though, there is a market of people buying these armor sets (regardless of price), so 343 has no reason to not continue pricing them as they do
