You can get a feel for where it's at by the amount of CSR you gain or lose. Get lots of CSR and you can be confidnet that your MMR > CSR. Lose lots of CSR, MMR < CSR. Small gains and losses, MMR = CSR.

Hey I've never played Halo before and I was thinking about getting the master chief collection, how come the games for it are labeled as DLC?

Does the DLC come with the game or do I need to purchase it seperately? kind of like how halo infinites campaign is separate from the multiplayer

from what i remember, the base mcc purchase is CE, 2, 3, 4. reach & odst are "DLC" in the traditional sense (additional content). you can also buy each of the 6 titles separately on steam - i'm not sure if this applies to ms store too.

all of the games appear as "DLC" regardless due to storefront funkiness - on steam its because you can buy each title separately, on ms store its just a quirk of the system. when you download the game*, you'll download the base game launcher as well as some small 10MB "licence files" (these files are technically the "DLC") which serve as keys to unlock the content in the launcher.

* on steam, the download is broken down by each title within the collection and you can selectively install what you want right from steam itself. on the ms store you have to download all 120GB - all six titles - as the "launcher", even if you dont own that title, and then enter the launcher to uninstall any multiplayer/campaigns you dont want.

my memory is hazy though since i havent thought about it in a long time. if anyone knows different please correct me
