hello!

i am having a problem with not being able to type in the server chats at the same time as i play.
i am on an ipad pro and i am able to have two tabs open at once, but when i try to open the invitation link from discord into safari it only allows me to start a new server.

i have tried to open it both before logging in and after logging in to sadly no avail.

i am still able to login and play in the invite servers which is epic
but only on the discord tab and if i leave temporarily to try and chat i will have left the game.

i do not know if there is currently a solution to this or if it is just something i will have to deal with on mobile but if there is any way to fix this or even just a reason why this happens i would appreciate some help thank u :)

That happens same to me, I'm on mobile and if I leave (leave, not close) the gphone tab and check Discord, it kicks me out of the game and I have to rejoin.

there is a way i can type in the chat!

but it only works if i start my own server and send invite from safari directly without leaving the tab/making sure it stays open while i add the discord tab
having the discord tab open at the same time does make it a little harder to draw since it takes up some of the screen but i think can make it smaller whenever i am not using the chat and gartic has a zoom in/out feature i believe which might help also :)

i still wish i knew of a way i could type chat when joining other invite servers on mobile but i think i can manage with this okay

although if anyone is able to help with that or can tell me why i can’t open those servers on safari from discord and then use split screen tabs on my ipad pro to chat i would appreciate you doing so /not obligated

Nope, the scoreboard mode grants a point every time the writing is similar enough to the previous prompt. The artist who did a drawing between 2 prompts also earns a point because he successfully brought the meaning forward
