Screen stretching when someone spams specific characters
Description
When a player spams specific characters, the screen stretches horizontally and makes it a lot more difficult to both guess and chat. What's even worse is players can spam in both the chat box and the answering box to make the screen stretch even more. Some side effects include a massive green box after guessing correctly (the green box scales with the length of the answering box), choosing a word (and other game messages) appear in the middle of the mess, drawing occurs on the leftmost side of the screen, and because of the stretching, drawings get more easily cut off when a player attempts to draw further than the drawing boundary.

Description: After the game resets (i.e. after win condition is triggered), the timer seems to be broken (or is at least shortened by half). The timer bar doesn't reach 0 and the round just finishes. This seems to only happen on the first drawing after the reset. Moreover, the timer seems to be cut even shorter than normal if a person hits.

this bug happens when the room has more than one user with no id. The absence of this acts like its own unique value (compare nothing with nothing -> true?) that is shared with all joined users with this condition.

So it seems to be a server issue? It's always the same people having this bug, with like 4-7% prevalence. People shouldn't be allowed to join rooms in this super-anonymous mode. It causes a plethora of bugs, not only visual ones. Maybe you could, upon joining a room, ensure that the user has been assigned an id?

Hello! I think I may have found a pretty serious bug on Gartic.io. Now, please don't think I am a hacker or anything like that, I have no idea how this happened. When I went to the website, I saw that I was already playing as an user with a name and different profile picture and all that, it was pretty weird but I didn't think that much of it. When I logged into my google account and tried to go into a room, it said that I was already playing in the same device (FYI, I wasn't playing in the same device). I was like, "Okay, I can try going into my other google account then.", and that is exactly what I was gonna do, until I realized that my user was changed AGAIN, but this time it wasn't the usual gartic,.io profile picture, I was logged into someones account. I have no idea how this happened, I am playing in the turkish server but every time I renew the page I get different users playing from different servers? I can send some screesnhots as proof, but if you'd like further evidence I can video call too. Please DM if you want to learn more!

When users logins the google accounts on gartic.io they are logins someones account. I think its a bug. Clearing cookies is solving this problem.

Hello, not sure if it's a bug or not, but in Gartic Phone it seems that once you're in a lobby, people will always get the same people's drawings to guess/sentences to draw
Like if for the first game person A draws person B's sentence, they will also have to draw it for the next game, and the next one...
I've tested it multiple times and it always ends up being the same order, so when you play for an entire evening, always getting the drawings from the same person is annoying. Not sure why this feature would be intended. It'd be real cool if this was fixed!

The sequence is drawn considering that one player never participates more than once in the same album. Besides, the sequence is synchronized with others players per turn. A way to guaranteed this is that the player will be preceded by the same person, but it is doesn't the only sequence, it's just one of the other ways.
For logic, the fewer players there are, the more likely it is that a "drawing/sentence" sequence will be the same, but as I said, many sequences depend on the number of players. It's is more common with 4 player or less.
The only sequence that maintains the same is the album display. It's always the same as the order of those who join in the game.

Sometimes my pc crash and my computer shut down, nothing anormal here for the game, when I reconnect, I still can play the game I was doing, nothing anormal here , but when we start a new game with the same room, I can draw and write at every stage of the game, normal, but when the reveal appear, nothing that I draw or write appear, it say "vide" (I don't know what it say in english, empty ?), it happens everytime I crash, reconnect, and start a new game with the same room , to fix it, I just need to leave and be back. For me the application does work. Im using Chrome with no expansions installed, no proxy.
For my friend, she downloaded chrome completely new, no expansions, no proxies. It's on a window 10 PC. She also tried it with her mobile phone and has the same issue

Hi, There seems to be a bug with iphone 12 Pro and the gartic.io app.
The cursor position is not lined up with the display when drawing.
We checked that the OS zoomed mode is off.
This is the same problem that would happen if you zoom in the browser on other operating systems that the cursor becomes misaligned. I think there is something with the new display on Iphone 12 that is affecting the app theme layout.

Hey thanks for having a look. The very first round it won't happen in a new room. It only happens after a game is complete. The next game the first turn is shortened (finished prematurely). I took a video. So the way to reproduce it is to finish a game first (so that the trophy's are shown) and then it is in the first round of the next game that gets shortened. see my video at around 00:52

On Windows, this may have something to do with Windows Ink. On my Wacom, the option to disable Windows Ink appears in the mapping settings. But I think it is possible to disable this function directly on the PC too.

It can't just be your service provider though. I'm in America and, while it works just fine over here normally, if I connect to the website using a VPN based in Southampton, I get the exact same issue.

ive explained the problem in 3 channels now
the CDN is not providing the required javascript files in the affected regions. you can't do anything to fix it, but using a US VPN or Proxy will let you play

What’s weird is that in France it doesn’t work for me but for my friends also in my city it works

not that weird. especially if they're with a different internet provider
considering it works in some places, theres could be fixes as easy as using certain dns servers.
still, i wouldn't recommend using anything other than cloudflare or google's DNS servers as it is

I'm just pointing out that the glitch issue has existed since the beginning of the bugs channel and has been reported multiple times.
The player that is affected by the bug can't play very well and will have to leave the room.

one problem is that there are a very small number of users who exploit this bug to cause trouble. It doesn't happen very often thank goodness.
