@sharp swan you can play for only less than around 30 min, then quit the game and restart, this way it doesn't crash much. A bit tedious but at least u dun lose tickets.

@runic sparrow I still think the issue has to do with connection, maybe controller connection. I already posted a couple of times that if I force a controller disconnection during a race it’ll crash every time.
I just wanna know if the tickets been open with this information for the developers. Is anyone working on this full-time? It is horrible and the fact that we’re not seeing anyone offer a temporary customer service side solution is rather frustrating

@sharp swan I can confirm that disconnecting controllers will crash, esp in MP. But there might be more issues, e.g. when my controllers are fine and internet is good, it still crashes. Duration of playtime should be a trigger, and I consistently have crashes if the game has run more than say 1 hr.
It's frustrating. At least we could have some updates as to where the devs are in attempting to fix the issue? No progress update?
The latest update, I am not sure if it's supposed to attempt fixing this issue. If anything, I tend to get More crashes (many others also reported)

Your save data are on Gameloft's servers and are tied to your Nintendo account. As long as you use the same account, you'll get your data back, even if you delete the game in the meantime.

If your Switch/Joy-cons are out of warranty, you can fix that pretty easily yourself. Search Amazon for "joy-con metal latch". If you're starting to get thumbstick drift, too, order the kit that comes with those and new thumbsticks.

The crashing issue has happened to me again on the Cadillac Cien event again. For some reason, this seems to moslty happen on events that use 3 tickets. There's no way to know what's causing it, but 3 tickets is a lot to waste especially if it's your last 3.

Anyone else have the game reload back to the A9 home screen from time to time since the update? I was just sitting in the daily events lobby and the splash screen came up for just a second or two then back to the home screen.
I'm also still getting crashes starting races in dailies from time to time. Lost another 3 tickets yesterday. I'm still restarting regularly too once I saw it happen again.

the biggest frustration of this game is then you finaly having the car full but not being able to equip it, very few people paid for the money of the game because too expensive it becomes ultimately ridiculous, because very badly balanced

Can you guys please patch the game so as to catch people like Wolf that use a turbo controller to auto play the game from spamming the DS-Tense in Multiplayer? All the game needs to do is note how often buttons are pressed and note even on loading screens they are being repeatedly pressed at the same frequency for some period of time (maybe 30 sec) and then ban the player for an hour. This would cut down on the bot racers, as they would have to pay attention to their system, and would eliminate problems like Wolf has where his game, which he wasn't even watching, spammed buying card packs because he can't be bothered to actually even pay attention and thus blame you guys for his greed.

Its all good to make changes to D class cars if youre higher class, but i think you might forget about the lower players that dont have many cars, that do need to play 10 times more than us to get a decent score, that dont play much and dont get better cars quiickly and therefor need to have faster reloading fuel
The reason its such a big issue now is because of the world series. Because its a rush season and people dont really go down in points. The normal mp season works fine because it allows quick rising and falling of players

I was grinding a lot in the currently ongoing car hunt for the Corvette, and didn't get any blueprints in so many runs, around 30 runs. In those 30 runs I did get all 3 packs in each run.
The drop rates got so terrible for me that I think there has to be something wrong

Noticed a paint glitch on the Aperta. It changes from these 2 shades of black with the default color and one with a white secondary color for some reason. Also noticed when trying to change it back I get the restored to stock message when I don't even have the car unlocked let alone 2 stars. It's a minor issue, but it's a bug so I thought I'd report it.

Checking the game for corruptions
Since many Switch™ players had experience crashing and/or lagging issues and find a way of solving it, instead of just archiving OR deleting the software, you want to to check the software for data corruption first. To do this, on the Home screen, go to Settings > Data Management > Manage Software.
From there, select that game and select "Check for Corrupt Data". It will check the game for corruption.
In my case, it shows no errors and just selects the "End" button to finish. But if found, you might want to choose "Re-download" button. This will archive the game and may ask you to re-download the game within the Home screen. You can re-download manually even no corruption is found and still experiencing issues in-game if it happens.
P.S The corruption might happen when the game tried to install to the storage media such as memory card (when internal storage space is on nearly full) OR both (game files for both internal storage and memory card, depending the space of internal storage has and have the files linked to that game for each media). Memory card can be remove but might be a corruption when accidentally remove it when the game is installing OR running. So be sure to check it after each update OR after card removal.
Once download, you might want to check for any corruption data by performing the step all over again till no corruption is found. Hope this help a lot
P.S. After experimenting it, Archiving OR Deleting the game will not wiped the save data (including Quick Race progression), unless you want to start the Quick Race all over again, which you can do so by going to Settings > Data Management > Delete Save Data. Select the game, then select a user OR all user and confirm the prompt to delete it. As for now, Quick Race progression is not included in online backups. So be careful with it.
I already pinned this post so tell your players to checked the pinned post before escalating further which can be solved technically by the Switch™️ Team.

I can't seems to get the chat function in Switch to work
Press x have no effect for me.
I also can't seems to change my driver name, not even for once. The edit button is just grey out.

It should go by the age you entered when you downloaded A9 & installed it on your device when you had to enter an age & agree to the terms of Use to continue installing the game.

@pale canopy Both issues are related to age restriction lock. Changing nintendo account age (is not possible and) will not change things. You will have to get the age reset by GL CC (Good luck)

This is a new one. I was doing the SE (in handheld mode) and finished a race and left it on the Race Results screen and walked away. Came back to it and the switch had gone asleep (screen off). I woke it back up and it completely crashed my Switch. I need to do a hard reset!
No buttons worked at all. Home, screenshot, etc. No response
It woke for a second or two, and popped up saying "Network status not syncing" and then just hung the whole system

All the new daily events pictures dont load for me. Neither does the bundle packs in the shop. In the shop the packs just say download error I can still access them but can't see the pictures. I would really like for this to be fixed.

Actually getting anything done about it (ie. token refunds, etc.) hasn't happened yet for me after more than a week. So, I guess we'll see. 🙂

The game crashes way too much on Switch. No one likes starting a 3 ticket event only to have the game crash but still take the 3 tickets and the fuel from the car. Please fix this, it has been happening for way too long at this point.

The game file isn’t corrupted, I already checked.
And I tried deleting and redownloading the game anyway. Still happens.
It’s an issue with the current build of the game. Pretty much everyone in my club experiences this on the regular too.

When you crash. Feel if your switch is hot. Then gen1 switch has cooling issues from what I've heard. As whenever I crashed my switch was hot asf. If your switch is a gen2 then it might be because of the game.

Yeah i dont run my switch in dock anymore cause this game makes it so hot, instead i bought a usb dongle for usb c and hdmi and usb b, basically a dock, but its a cable adapter

sometimes it takes a while for them to load after reset which is 2 AM GMT+1 so if you see them then don't archive just restart the game couple times

@shut tree , i drop the resolution of my switch to 720p instead of 1080p and it seems to be better, since i did it, i didn't notice any fps drop even on Mid west tracks where it was always occuring.. Pending GL correction, it can be a workaround if playing on TV

Pretty sure changing the switch output to 720p doesn't do anything. All that does is downscale the game on the TV. It's still rendering at 1080p and lagging.

I don't think it makes a difference with the crashes. (maybe this is an individual fix, that doesn't work for everyone) I'm gonna ask the game team to see if they know anything about this.
Try clearing the cache maybe that will improve it.

this isnt for the crashes, but for improving game performance, as there are many spots in many maps where the fps drops significantly, where it is a gamble what the outcome of your game is in the end
as the nemesis event is coming up, ill be able to show you, as it always happens in one of those events days

In the E-Shop, the legends starter pack lists in the description that it gives you the blueprints required to unlock the Porsche Carrera GTS instead of the Porche GTS Coupe. This could get you in big trouble for accidental false advertising, plus, the Carrera isn't even a thing on Switch!

ive been having issues with mp when i try WS it cant find anyone to race agaisnt when i try Aperta series it took very long but ended up in a 1v1 ... i keep trying WS but its not working my mp always loaded fast and never had this problem before... tried aperta again no success same for WS ...

The error "2622-9511" has been appearing quite frequently lately, and in some cases MP is interrupted by it, which has a bad effect on the rate system.

This is the lag that I experienced on this variant. This is far smoother than it actually was in-game. Where I could barely see anything and I was hoping that I was going the right way 😅

Man I had clips but got rid of them. On Cairo, where the two tunnel's are near the loop around the tower. My game has froze for a good 3-5 seconds before resuming. It has happened in MP and when it unfreezes the game gives me the unstable connection notification and of course opponents just jump ahead, so I do freeze in place as well when it happens.

And here in whirlwind curve, on the video a small fps drop at the first barrel, and one more noticeable in the second, but usually if I have more cars ahead the drop occurs between them too
