Why are the 2 lap races so frequent... Its so irritating and unfair to racers when you do not have the fast car... Please gameloft don't make this experience bad... Out of 3 races I hardly win one as coming first is the only option... Second and third either gives you low points or minus points. Also I am a working individual and don't even have time for 2 laps races as I try to squeeze a quick race between my breathers and all I get is a stupid minus point or low point which makes the whole race reward worthless...

@covert crown I found a solution. Do n’t play multiplayer games before exiting the game. The next time you enter the game, you will get an error. First, you must play a multiplayer game. Then you will play daily matches.
Then exit the game, no error will appear next time you enter the game.

The game is so hitchy and stuttery in MP that it is hard to adjust after doing events. Those 2 lap races really favour payers (or sea mammals as you call them in meetings).
Also, I have been getting a lot of this lately: the game showing wrong positions in MP. Or is this hackers? Finished 4th that race.
(You have to expand the picture to see that it shows places No. 1, 2 and 3, even though I am 7th.)

Is there a S I N g l e thing in this game, that is somehow not based on stupid randomness? Except the calculated moves of GL, how to get the most out of the pockets... Well this one is of course not based on some random codes...
Not even shockwave is secure, it's almost impossible to have strategy in this game. You never know, if a single touch will kd you, or bump into someone from behind with higher speed than him...

@strong moth I completely feel ya... Everything is so random... I was too using the shockwave but someone else kd me while I was in one... I don't even know what is safe... I have started dreading the ramps nearly half the time the I am flying off or my car does a somersault which is so weird especially when you are in a multiplayer which has no way to recover and you loose points... The two lap races make it worse when there are physics issues, the first lap I am alright but the second lap one issue with the ramp and I am last...
Its truly started to feel a waste of time and no one even bothers to acknowledge it... My previous issue went unnoticed and I am sure this one will too... Only foolish talks are entertained and one thing I know for sure is they just mimicking the mobile version so the suggestion is completely to make a fool of everyone as they will not alter anything major from the mobile version rather they will keep the game as is... I wonder they may not even have the resource for switch improvements as the only thing they seem to do is just make it switch compatible... Shame on you Gameloft... I knew you were money hungry but you don't even care of genuine queries of your customers...

@strong moth I am sorry that you feel this way. We are going to have a MP season that you might like in a few days and that hopefully will make everything clear(er). In regards to the TD issue, the fix it's in the pipeline, so you can expect that to be solved really soon.
I am truly sorry that you feel this way guys. We do care about the players and we are doing everything in our power to improve the game. Not everything has a quick fix, so there might be longer periods between fixes than expected.

There is a big difference between the gravity control and the joy-con control. After the test, it was found that the gravity control with the same sensitivity has a larger Turning Angle and is easier to control than the handle control. So we guess that the angle of the joy-con control is not increasing linearly.

I've noticed a bug that may be annoying. Here are the steps:
- During a multiplayer race, if I connect another controller than mine (let's call it P2), the pause menu opens but the race is still running. I lose control of the car because the menu is opened, but I guess it's the expected behavior.
- If I close the menu, it reopens again on the spot. This is odd.
- If I disconnect P2, the game crashes. This is obviously weird.
Outside of multiplayer, the pause menu opens if I connect or disconnect a controller, without looping indefinitely and without crashing.

@dense harness if you want to make sure that doesn’t happen then do this: Go off the nitro, drift a small amount and then hit the nitro again and maybe drift again after that around the turn
It works for me whenever I think I might lose control on that turn
I also don’t go into it with nitro on, I drift once I get close to the turn and then shockwave around the turn once I’m halfway through it

Hey there. Just a few fixes I thought Id mention and 1 suggestion. Loving the game so here is some feedback. :)
- Please add a restart race button to Quick Race mode when you pause the race. Example: you crash and would like to restart your run
- Please allow player to select game mode in Quick Play (Hunted / Time Attack) (Most people just want to practice a course alone but some are hunted mode by default etc.)
- In quickplay mode ZL/ZR does not change class like the other modes. You have to manually go right with the Analogue / Dpad from D class to S class for example.
- In quickplay, the method to getting to Custom Race is very clunky when you have completed many challenges (when in docked mode you have to scroll left through completed missions, or go along the top options and then down to custom race)
- Please add a time attack mode to quickplay that records times for each course (the challenge ones are fine but they log best times on maps that are "hunted gamemode" which is not a true time attack of a course. It seems nothing logs your best times when you do custom race, but again in custom race some are hunted mode by default too) @covert crown @dense harness

Whenever someone has bad wifi, asphalt 9 doesn't really go well. I was just in a race with someone that kept having poor connection. They would crash into me and wreck A LOT and then just teleport farther down the track.
Instead of guessing where the car would go, please just cancel their hitbox until the connection is fine

I was winning a race easily, then jump through a ramp then freeze mid air for a while. The music keeps going and all then I unfreeze and 2 players are already ahead of me while I was mid air.

There's a bug that makes it so you can't see chat. Also sometimes it says 0/20 even when there's players on. I know this is the case because if I reset the game it goes back to normal. And now you give us a Pay to win Part with the hey here you can drive the Sin or if you dont have that you can Skip it with 500 Asphalt. Now explane me how I can get 2000 Token to Skip that all or were i can find BP for Sin that is esay to get. Then I have only 5 BP of the Sin and for all Card you need to pay 36.000 Trade Points.

I opened asphalt and it said it needed an update. I updated it but it closed it because there was an error. I logged back on, normally, and it seemed fine. However, I had changed my nickname a while back and after the update it changed it back to driver 2291. It won't let me change it back. Anyone know why this happened and how I can fix it? Has it happened to anyone else?

@rotund trout reopen the software and when the loading screen appears, go back to home menu and then wait for about a minute or so. Then return back to the software, and it should be loaded without crashing. I'm not sure if this works but it worked for me.

Small issue about TouchDrive:
- When TouchDrive is on, the car loses more speed when turning than without TouchDrive. Let's call this a speed penalty.
- If I turn TouchDrive off during a race, the speed penalty is still active when it shouldn't.
- If I turn TouchDrive off after the loading screen but before the race starts, no speed penalty occurs.
It's not a major issue, but it's kinda annoying when I forget to turn TouchDrive off before loading the race, and before it begins...

Software Error While Starting Up
The impossible, just got possible for me. I never expected the game to end up crashing just like anyone else. Well, it ended up happening to me too. The only things I have done were leaving my club and sending an invite to a new one, then I did 6 SE races then wanted to restart the game to see if I joined the club or not.

I want to understand how the respawn works in this game... One player clearly crashed in front of me and then respawned right away ahead of me... How is that fair.. I went to check back in the race recording and he crashed twice in the race and not even driving well and still got a quick respawn... If your car finishes refueling while you are looking at the timer (on the screen where you would usually press "Play" to start the race), the Skip button will not change into a Play button. The timer will disappear but the gas tank won't refresh unless you leave the screen and then go back.
Just a mild bug, but wanted to report it in case someone accidentally hits the button when it's done and uses up their tokens for a skip. 😊

Ok then. Three times that i write here for an issue that force me to reinstall the game every day. Every single day. But nobody helped me and nothing was do. Now i have made a mistake, unfortunately i clicked on the time of Sin R1 550, 1 min 25 sec and i payed 625 tokens. I made a mistake and i hope that something is possible to do. The physics seemed extra bad this mp season with the ghost thing. Randomly crashed on multiple races in mp that made no sense causing me to not make the top 3k. I hope the devs can fix the issues before they try implementing that style of mp season again.

He is visible in the list of club members and appears online but not in the club's multiplayer ranking, he has all archived the game, changed the connection but nothing to do he can not find any player online, as if he is removed from the ranking
I had another friend who had the same problem at the start of the season a while ago but I don't know how it is resolved.

Make it so you have to press R twice to change the camera view during a race to keep us from changing the camera view accidentally. I always do this. If I'm in a multiplayer race and this happens, I can't pause obviously so I have to change it back while racing. Which makes me lose focus and crash. @covert crown

He is visible in the list of club members and appears online but not in the club's multiplayer leadboard, he has all archived the game, changed the connection but nothing to do he can not find any player online, as if he is removed from the ranking

Every time i get close to reaching legend league i get put in 3 player races against Koenigseggs. I think this isn’t supposed to happen??? I’m not competing against gold league players in platinum league so why do legend league players get to play against platinum league players when they get to use Zenvo and Icona and Regera? Seems rigged. If there aren’t enough legend league players to race in multiplayer it’s not my problem. Don’t ruin platinum league by mixing in legend league players to increase the amount of people in races for legend league.

bronze, silver and gold = first group
platinum and legend = second group
if you hit platinum you can't get matched up with gold players anymore

If you're talking about the "Quick Race" (offline) data, then you don't have to worry about your data being completely lost after archiving.

I wonder when we're going to have a pin of them saying they're at least going to try fix the software closing error or if it will never be fixed, a lot of people are leaving because of this and the tricks you put on pinned messages do not work , the game randomly decides it's just never going to open unless you redownload ,which can take a lot of time.
