yeah, the reason the clear cache works because it probably resets and initialize pointer, thus prevents it accessing other data (which might causes crash)

but still, because it (the random pointer access) still exists, hence why theres residual crash

if its not crash, then it modified the map or other data (depending on what it tried to access)

Like.... you put a car gated behind so much work... and have a system which guarantees 99% of those who jump through the hoops won't be happy after it. That's just customer satisfaction 101 right there.

might simply remind that coding games mostly are low level languages (LLL) that involves you understand not just the code, but the cpu opt produced especially in switch case, its ARM. its not the region of HLL (like python, java, C#) that uses multiple binding to call low level

but if you confident about it, you can try to submit a form to them (for me, im currently too busy with my programming work, i couldnt have time to check other dev code, or even think of buy a switch test kit, even if they can borrow the test kit, probably the code already been fixed before it delivered anyway)

I appreciate the gesture with the poll redeem code and I didn't 'expect' to get it. Hopefully, these type of incentives continue as I know it does motivate me to track A9 discord.
By my observation, the frustration with the poll redeem code comes down to communication. If GL wants to make redeem codes increasingly more rare and limited, they should add an in-game response when limit has been reached, and what the limit is: "This code has reached its limit of 500, try again next time." Then you won't get all this churn in the discord issues channel, which should alleviate frustration for GL. @shy prairie As you mentioned, setting expectations up front would also help diffuse things.
With its declining community, A9 switch has a post-apocalyptic dystopia feel these days. So I find it surprising when I look through discord seeking answers about a fresh redeem code that I suspect isn't working, to see the remaining engaged racers being told not to feel so entitled.
I hope you can see our perspective here, and that there could be some room for improvement on the GL side. Thanks
