Not sure if this is just me or not, but since the hotfix I’ve been having frame drops in only a very specific place-after the first barrel ramp on the Quantum Jumps track. I don’t know if this is an issue, but it happened there and only there several times in a row.

-the Game freezes very often , mostly in MP1 sometimes in MP2 and few times in TLEs
-> in MP when Game freezes you stay at one place while all others moving normally so you lose time and positions ; in normal races(TLEs for example) no big affect but annoying

I play on iPad Pro (2018) and it’s not because of internet connection because A9 is only game/App telling me „bad connection“; no other issues on my device

I actually like all car fuels reduced by 50%. Its nice because we didn't get a car just to use it 3 times, then waiting 6 hrs to use it again and/or watching 20 ads to refill. Watching ads should be how it is.

Before the Dragon Pack appears at store, The “Dragon Boat Festival” are shown and (somehow) I bought them for ten.
As a result, I lost 750Tokens for only one Aventador SV Coupé.
After that, this card pack are disappeard and the Dragon Pack are shown instead.
I can’t understand this happening and I want to bring these Tokens back.

@fringe grail well actually quite a few people mentioned this before I did so I was asking if there’s any word on it. If this is a bug, then it clearly states in gl terms that you can get banned for exploiting in game bugs/glitches. To be honest, I would much rather watch a few extra ads then get banned

Tap freeze, after the first wreck I held my left thumb to see where it’s tapping, it was tapping the correct spot between the bottom and the buttons. This kind of issue takes place at some specific sections, and only happens with steering to left. @fringe lantern @sullen raven

You can’t send reports through the game now, always comes up as invalid captcha though there is no captcha there! I have had at least ten races just stop and the game closes today and sending a report here is worthless. No one reply’s. I spent over $1,000 on this game and this is how we are treated.

How can we race when this is a constant? It’s not about who races better or has a better car but who can connect to the server best. I have excellent internet and WiFi signal so it’s not on my end, it’s on gameloft side. So how can it be fixed?

When you watch that video @fringe lantern does it look like that is a fun way to race? Or that is is worth money being spent on? You can not advance in the game like this. So why spend money or tokens on S class cars when you will never use them due to connection issues holding back players? I’d much rather play in groups of 4-6 if that meant I could play instead of 8. But as always we won’t even get a response from anyone on this channel. Thanks for your support, here have more money from me. Is that how this is supposed to go???

Can’t know drop rates on android or windows, but for sure it’s a problem on iOS, even with bad luck, you can’t have a so low rate if it’s really10% as noted, and generally get an according rate(+- 2%)

It’s not something they can fix as a whole, as a bug in the game such as when ads don’t play or tap to steer doesn’t respond. Drop rate is set by chance. You want to believe them when they say 10% or 20%, just plain don’t. Look at the packs to buy sometime and when it says 70% discount or 80% discount then do the math, it’s never right, those are just numbers devs assign to entice people to spend tokens or cash.

They can’t fix drop rates ???? Are you serious, making % rates is one of the easiest thing to do, and i’m in the game since global launch 26 months ago, so know that rate can be low depending of number pack you buy, but this time is not matching at all and IT’S a issue easy to fix for next event, just not lie on drop rate, if I know that solo pack was 3% rates I don’t spend 13k+ tokens on it

@tender flume completely agree! It’s impossible for platinum players to get into legend especially in slipstream mode. Only way to do it, is to get to legend within the 1st couple of days so your only against platinum players but the only people who can do that are the professional players.

After update heavy lags up to app-crashes during races (career, events and multiplayer), after clicking to watch ads and after watching ads! My iPhone is literally glowing and its particularly untouchable due to overheating! In Multiplayer that Issue is known for months, but not in events or career! Someone else has the same problems on iPhone 7??

@past coral yes my iPhone 7 gets so hot I need a fan or set it on a ice pack. The regular daily races can cause it also and makes for terrible lag when you play after the phone gets hot. But as per Shameloft doesn’t care about the consumer of their products to help understand or fix an issue. Instead it’s the same ole same ole, launch a product and fix it in the days after. Hey I wonder if Microsoft, EA Sports, Nintendo do it that way? You know released flawed updates, upset consumers and not care? Maybe the fact they don’t do this is why those companies are giants in the gaming community.

I agree with @drifting latch. GL reports numbers of banned players, but it would be better to get more detailed information per platform and what is being done against different forms of cheating and bot use.

To be honest, I don't think it's a simple task. Let's take bots for example. Bots in MP is just asking for trouble as there are too many eye-witnesses, so your bot-cheat needs additional levels of creativity.

If GL advised that they had banned a particular person for exploiting TD during MP, other bot-creators will put additional effort into creating more complex bots that to the casual player will just look no more than ordinary.

There's enough bot-making software out there for all flavours of platform. And like spreadsheets, you can either be simple and just add columns together, or you can be "adventurous" and use smart-macros that not just simulate pokes to the screen, but also read the screen to establish what action to take.

This issue has nothing to do with bots. First of all, Gameloft should give priority to the issue of dual device cheating and solve this issue. Otherwise, this problem will cause huge problems.

I have a strange Situation here. On my iPhone 7 with iOS 14.0.1 everything seems to be running fine. I wasn’t affected by import part issue and all events are running smooth, except of the Egoista Event. Every time I’m in time to beat 1:18 with ZR1 either Game is going to be extremely laggy or game is crashing at the end( last or second last ramp) , but if I wreck earlier, I can complete the race(without beating 1:18). someone else noticed that?

Please can Gameloft remove token sellers once and for all- it’s really hard competing with top teams and top players who build their accounts with cheap tokens- pro team - iOS included- iOS token sellers active now for the last year- and some of them competing in ESL current league 🧐—- this is really against fair play!!!! Information has been given to Gameloft with specific device serial numbers of these very players- but yet they still online months later- so not only do they take money from you- they sell to others for real money- and yet because they are top players they are given a free pass? Or atleast this is what is said if they don’t get banned- not to mention fraud charges- one player I know of has made 20 000$ the last year on cheap token sales-

iPhone 12 pro graphics seem to be glitchy when 60FPS is enabled.

The position number on top of card (including MP) seem to be lagging along with the car, and the nitro animation look like it’d been dragged along the pixels, and is not smooth. 60fps is only sometimes reached.

iphone 11 , IOS 14.1 (18A8395).

i think it is a rare issue that happened to me once today, i don't know if it can be replicated but here is the story :

in the middle of watching an ad for the ads card pack i exit to the phone home screen , opened another app "kahoot" and used it for a bit. when return to the game and clicked "resume ad". the ad ended in a black screen with an app crash, and after relauncing the app my game setting were resetted to default , got the ferrari season windows and the tips screen before entering a special race "slipstream for example" ( like it was freshly installed app).

notes : in my phone i have the "background apps refresh" option turned off.

The game always crashes during every race of MP i do, either it starts lagging or it just crashes, at the momment it has hanged and then crashed, from past 2 hrs i am facing this problem, also whenever the race starts, it freezes and then suddenly crashes. So pls see to it and fix it asap.

I need this fixed today @fringe lantern @drifting latch @sullen raven I have been having issues with numbers shaking when I’m using 60 FPS on my new iPhone 12. CC suggested I uninstall and reinstall the game to fix and stupid me I did, now I don’t have that option any more!!! I’d much rather be able to utilize the full graphics of my new iPhone 12 that you still don’t have an option to chose in cc settings. This is so wrong! Your fix is to limit how we play now?

60FPS inconsistent on iPhone 12 pro. Very Frequent throttling and lagging switching between 30 and 60. Usually stays at 30 with 60 enabled. Perhaps an update for optimisation?

Been having an issue since the beginning of British season with ads, got an email yesterday saying it was fixed... went to do a gas ad in practice for 599 gp and there are no ads at all now. Is this how you fix things? By removing ads, by removing 60fps. GAMELOFT IS SO LAZY!

All that will end up getting you is muted or banned from the server for pinging them for issues outside their ability to assist on. Customer Care is your only option. There is a sticky in the Asphalt 9 Forum to post issues with CC not responding. There is information in #👨💻-customer-care that might help. but constantly asking the staff for help is only going to get you in trouble in the server.

I’m playing Asphalt 9 on iPhone 8 with iOS 13.7. After the latest update of the game, the performance degraded very much. The game play is not smooth at all as it was before. The frame rate dropped. Please optimise iPhone 12 series for 60FPS. My 12 pro has 60 enabled but is extremely unstable, will maintain 60 for like 20 seconds and go back to 30.

I am not convinced that a 12 pro performs worse than a standard 11. Please fix this issue, i have been talking about this since October 31st when I got this device.

@halcyon siren I sent a video to cc showing the shakes and they removed my option for 60fps without asking or telling me they were. Then later they send an email saying to turn it off. They won’t give it back to me now. My times are a lot better with it but they rob me of choice

Hard to tell @fringe grail from your video, but imagine the whole app, settings, daily loot, MP, GP, the app as a whole trembling and stuttering all the time no matter what you are doing. MP races are terrible to race. Basically all the graphics are not running in one smooth fashion.

Must be worse then in mine. Really all I saw was above all the cars, the numbers would shake badly. I wish I never told cc. Instead of fixing they just remove it. I got a lot better times with 60fps @halcyon siren they say but I don’t believe them that it won’t be fixed until the update but seeing how inept these people are they won’t bother, it’s to much work for them to get the newest iPhone to work. They don’t even have a spot in cc to list iPhone 12. How lazy is that.

@fringe grail I have the iPhone 12 pro max, maybe that’s why I am experiencing it worse? Honestly I’ve noticed no change in the graphics or performance when I disabled the 60fps, it still feels and looks the same! 😂
I have noticed the numbers and names of opponents above their cars shaking badly too. That’s the most obvious sign that there is an issue! I’m grateful that this part two of the Ferrari season is really not worth playing for so the timing is not too bad I guess

@fringe lantern @drifting latch Please fix asap the rep glitch in iOS. Many players (mostly in the Chinese clubs) have used a glitch where they get 3k reps per race. This has led some players to get over a million reps in a few hours, and it has destroyed the top of the club leaderboard. It's necessary to remove the source of the glitch, but also to deduct reps from the players who have taken advantage of it.

I occasionally see the same "New Bundle" notification and tapping the pink button takes me to the store-front where all the relays and token-exchange "goodies" are. Focus is placed on the first or second item in the store rather than where ever the New Bundle actually is. I don't frequent the store too often and I couldn't tell you which was the "New Bundle" on any given day, but scrolling the to the end of the store-front will remove the "New Bundle" shop sign.

I’ve bought a brand new iphone 12 and the game is laggy and not so smooth, everything is kinda slow. There is 60 fps option on iphone 11 and the game runs so smooth on it, but no 60 fps option on the iphone 12. I’ve compared the i12 and the i11 on 30 fps and it’s the same so it seems like the iphone 12 has only 30 fps. Is there someone who experience the same? I see that the optimisation for the 12 Pro needs work. Runs likes garbage to be honest. Works a lot better on the wife’s XS max with the update installed. I will give it a couple of days as per the hot topic. However something isn’t right when a mega powerful phone struggles with this game.

Okay, updating A9 is like gambling: win or loose.
Current issues on iPhone 7 with iOS 14.1.x :
PS4 Controller connects properly but not a single key works. After 5 mins connected A9 reports: Gamepad disconnected, Gamepad connected, Gamepad disconnected.... while it’s still connected properly.
All Osaka Tracks (even daily events) are freezing for seconds (now imagine Multiplayer!!!!!), totally unplayable
Phone is heating up again.

I don’t know if there’s a quality management at GL, but if not I suggest to create such a team.

We need good solutions now. Can’t be every iPhone/iPad/Mac including iPhone 12 Pro/iPad Pro is affected in it’s own way.

Since the update, A9 graphics and game play are glitching horribly on 11” iPad Pro. Taps are missed, the game just stops intermittently while driving. Switching back to 30 fps seems to limit the longer glitches, but small glitches and stops in game play still occur.

Please release an urgent update to return the game to playable on the latest iPad Pros.

Since Full Throttle update it’s almost impossible to play A9:
When I restart my phone, the game lags like hell. 2 second freeze during race, not just once but like every 10 seconds. Impossible to play.
When phone is on and I restart just the app, it completely crashes every time I watch an ad. Seems like A9 stays in memory even after force closing the app. This leads to freeze of my phone even when I use other apps.
When I want to record my race replay, I swipe up to get A9 in background, open iOS-built in screen recorder and when I get back into a9, it’s crashed and opens again: lost fuel, tickets and no rewards.
Hope you can help asap
iPhone XR, iOS 14.3, different wifi and mobile data

Whenever I do a race for some reason I’ll glitch out the game entirely. Ex. I was just doing daily events and my screen froze before the race started and it kicked my out the game entirely. This happens for every game mode, for the past week. BigK2 Gaming ID: 3e08947. iPhone 7 OS is up to date

What's up with the fps drops? The game keeps switching to 30fps when I have 60 enabled, and it messes my laps up pretty often because evrything goes super jittery and the motion blur is off. Device is iPad Air 4.

the problem of the new system is that you didn't consider the environment of all platforms at all. we are now required to slave in MP to get series score, which became so harder to obtain. but on iOS and windows there are not many players like android. so by the moment only 100 people are in platinum league, and they mostly get 1v1 lobbies. it gives only 20 series score, and you get none if you lose. now it is almost impossible for anyone to reach 70k milestone and 3k one in MP..

I think gameloft wanted us to see our families over Christmas. They purposefully made this mp season pointless to play. I for one am happy I’m not going to have to play it.

In all seriousness, the above post is right on the money. Playing a race with 2 or 3 people ain’t gonna give me a decent series score.

Like always gameloft fail to act on the average player and instead focus on inhuman totals by bots and no life players.

They ask for feedback, they listen to feedback and then something happens where they implement it terribly. I get that they need to make money, but destroying a game isn’t the best way of doing it. I for one will never spend another penny.

whenever i start up a game for the first time in like a day (the first match only) it has some lag spikes but then preforms fine

and the lag spikes only happened after a certain update (i dont remember which one but it was around november)

This has several times on iPadOS to me. I would refresh and it would still not work for me. I would turn off my Wi-Fi and sometimes it would not work. Then if neither of those choices worked I would restart my iPad and then it would work.

The asphalt 9 is very laggy, terrible, jitteriness and the FPS keeps dropping from 60 to 30 on iPhone 12 pro max.

What’s going on with ads. We now have advertiser putting an “x” on screen that can’t be pressed. You have to tap it about 10 times to get rid of it. The below advert has an X at the top left that goes to the App Store. You close it by pressing the top right.

The Game Keeps Crashing on my iPhone 7 Plus... Today its been 1 hour trying to open the game. Clicked more than 100 times to open the game. It Still Crashes. Plz Fix the issue. I hv reinstalled the game 12 times but still the game crashes for no reason. Its happening after the last update. It's not necessarily always your own connection - the A9 server network is "large" with (I believe) tinned servers in Paris and virtual/cloud (EC2) servers on AWS (Paris and just for you, Germany). It is possible for the bad connection to occur between any of those connections.

That said, it is worth checking your own network to ensure that no one else is hogging the bandwidth doing homework, Netflix, streaming etc.

When it happens, try removing the application from the background and tapping the A9 again to restart the application.

Bad connections are also possible while your device is connected to VPN or Proxies.

Did everything. Reinstalled the game. The Game Runs after reinstalling only one time and after i exit the game after few minutes or hours when i wnt to play the game again this happens. Startup crashes. I Rebooted my Phone. Even I reformated my phone i hv 109GB Free space now. And it still crashes. This typ of crashes started after the last update which was on December 2020. Before that my game never crashed.

As for Connection m on 1GBPS Network. I tried with 12 different ISP Wifi even with my own Mobile network. The Game Still Crashes on Startup. For safe side i installed fresh A9 on my frnds iPhone 7 Plus who has never played A9 before. The Game ran once on the first run after that. When i restarted the game after few hours its the same Crashes.🙇🏻‍♂️

For those of you experiencing crashing issues on iOS, could you gather crash logs for our team? These are the steps needed for log collection:

Open Settings app.
Tap Privacy.
Tap Analytics & Improvements.
Tap Analytics Data.
Scroll down and select any items that start with "Pocket" and show the date you encountered the crash.
Tap the Share button at the top right corner, and email the crash log to Pocket.

Once you have them, you can send those to Customer Care directly together with your device info and we'll be investigating further

Thanks. Yes. A player came over from our top club recently and he checked while he was a lone wolf, before moving to out second club. He could not find it by location or by search.

Literally every person in the club is from an multiplayer invite. No one came by finding us on the club list. We have been Top 400-600 all season, which we would be at the upper/middle end of the list. But no one can find us since we are not listed.

Why do I get the same ad all the time. It’s a 45 second ad of a pokemon and pokeball. It’s been stuck on this ad for days. Like most I don’t take notice of the ads and it’s incredibly annoying to have to wait 45 seconds for this one to end.

While I appreciate that ads are a part of your revenue stream. Some variety in ads would be appreciated. Between this and the eastern European con artists, I think you need to exert much more control over your providers.

Ads should be a maximum of 30 seconds. And should be skippable after 15 seconds.

Back to my invisible club. At the time of this screenshot we had 205k rep, we should show up here on the International clubs list. We don’t show up at all. Our club cannot survive like this, as we are trying to build a Top 200 Club. We need players to be able to join our club from these lists. 1000’s of clubs are listed, why not mine? Do I need to pay 100’s of tokens to create a new one and move everyone over to the more club at the end of this season? Something mixed up in the software, I wish someone could please help us with this. Many of us are paying players.

Just to confirm, GL lists thousands of clubs that have 0 points (which is very embarrassing in my opinion) but cannot list clubs full of active and paying players? I will likely abandon this club and stop mentoring many new players which may become future paying customers for you. I’m not trying to be ignorant and asking rhetorical questions, I just want to confirm 100% before I quit this club that I spent much time developing. Thanks!

Thanks @naive violet ! It is definitely public. I also tried cycling from Public to Private to Restricted them back to Public. No luck. This is my third club, all previous clubs that I’ve led have shown up on these lists, and the other five clubs that I’ve been a member of has shown up on the lists. A club cannot “grow” without this.

When I left my previous club to form this club, I literally had to press “Leave” about 10 times. Many funny things happened. I saw the club members but all the rep showed zeros. Like I only partially left. It eventually took, but I’m thinking there is some glitch that carried along from this that is causing the issue.

Do you mean the Elite 2 Controller? If so, then yes works very well. You'll need a PC to run the software to reassign the various button/trigger functions.

It's a little overkill, but it works.

If the controller gets as far as connecting via Bluetooth to your iPhone (and your phone doesn't periodically reject the connection) then there can't be much more required...

I always play with 60FPS disabled. The new version resets to 60FPS enabled every time I quit and reenter the app. I need to toggle in settings to Enable and then back to disable in order for it to work at 30FPS. @fringe lantern

A9 becomes worse with every update imagine going for top 300 mp1 to 1700 all because the game freezes and lets everyone go way in front.... 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Every time I slightly swipe up a9 (intentional or accidental) on my XR, the app crashes. Every time ads lead me to App Store, the App crashes.
I never saw such an unstable app... please fix it asap, don’t wait for next big update. This needs to be fixed in days, not weeks or months!!!

There is still no 60fps option for the 2020 iPad. It uses the A12 chip as per the xs max. Why is the option for 60 missing?

There is a bug with ad tickets. It lets you continue watching an ad for an 11th time. At which point the square loading symbol shows and you have to restart that game.

Same bug for ad pack in shop. 4 ads running as supposed, but „watch ad“ button is still available. Tapping it 5th time it’s endless loading until you restart the app

There’s a bug with the ads. If you get candy crush ads the ad freezes at the end and you can’t triple your credits or get BP from the ad pack in the shop.

For reference the model number is A2270. The specs are the same as the iPad Air 2019.

I've reported this player for inappropriate username at least 15 times over several months now and I know my clubmates did the same. Is anyone looking over those reports, or are we just wasting our time?

Seems like wasting time, maybe because it does not affect revenue for the company. Reporting GL to authorities for exposing minors to sexual content might be more effective.

Bad luck protection works only for car hunt/ epic hunt where you get guaranteed drop after x packs. It doesn’t work for token packs in shop @ancient yoke
