- In the last comment, the word “got” was censored, but the same word in previous comments was not. Please explain.
- The code for screening for bad words apparently does not distinguish languages. This means a perfectly normal word in one language can get censored because of a general filter for English.

Can not start the game, it is stuck in the first loading screen forever..Reinstalling didnt work. Softreset didnt work. The loading screen is lagging for 3-5sec. and then it just keeps loading to infinity. Also my internet is more than fine

Gameloft FIX YOUR SERVERS. The game is acting like I need a 50mbps connection to even start the game. I have around 5mbps and when I’m downloading something and even have about 3mbps to spare and I can do everything else just fine, the game takes an eternity to load.

@fringe lantern The sound is not an issue here on iOS 12, but one other thing: I opened the page to claim the reward for the recent multiplayer Spyder series, then swiped the app away before even tapping on the “claim” button. After re-opening the app a moment later, I see that the rewards have been added. This means I did not get to see what was inside the packs. I see more tokens and credits but there is no way to tell if and what parts and blueprints were added.

- if it works the problem is in your device

the last thing it comes to my mind is to check if you have unusual settings on your phone's wifi, go on settings -> wifi -> tap on the (i) of your wifi and check that everything is set on automatic
or try to change dns to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, but i really don't think thats a dns issue

The fact that it takes almost TEN ads to refuel my Vulcan means that I’m force quitting the freakin game 30% of the time just to gas up. Okay, multiple issues here in order of annoyance - iPhone XS Max on 12.1.1 - ❶ As mentioned by others, app hangs when re-opening, requiring a force-quit via app switcher. ❷ Encountering some lag and video glitching during MP. ❸ It appears that ~30% of ads are completely broken (do not appear at all, prompting to end or retry, and tapping retry fails 100% of the time, even multiple times in a row). ❹ The stupid Command & Conquer ad is still not fixed, now when you tap the ⓧ it opens the App Store forcing you to tap [ ◂ Asphalt 9 ] to get back. ❺ Often with ads, it will start to play, but the countdown timer will lag (?) but then it seems like it’s actually playing the ad a second time right on top of the other one. ❻ My XS Max never used to get hot to the touch while playing (even for the first few days after the 60FPS update, which I love btw), and now it does (which might be the culprit of the degradation in quality and performance mentioned in #2).

Amazing as it is, 30 Fps + high effects is great with iPhone Xs
60Fps + high effects is asking the iPhone Xs to do double work, 30 frames in 1 second has now become 60 frames in 1 second and add to that multiplayer...Battery will not survive for that long...which in turn will likely make you plug your phone in a Charger & play the game at the same time, which makes it even hotter > system fail safe > Throttle cpu/gpu > future complaint > game lagging🤦🏽♂️

On WiFi or cellular this happens A LOT, and multiple times in a row, before an ad successfully plays. It’s already an annoyance how many ads higher class cars take to refuel, but when the ads don’t even work, it’s irritating to the point I don’t want to waste my time playing.

Well I was doing the Chiron day one event, I was mid air at the dirt section, and a little love tap teleports me to a drivable off map road. It didn’t do anything for 24 seconds, until I was actually going the wrong way, after which I reset myself to salvage some money. Needless to say I wasted some fuel. No real biggie, just a little confused. I killed my last two, and recorded those just in case. No avail though.
Cool as it may be, it could be an issue in multiplayer.

BC you hit the pole. First GS you force barreled there. Either go straight up and flat spin to bounce off the black part of roof or go to right for the blue bottles. I do the bounce trick to have shockwave for finish or have 1 ready for second lap. You will also dodge the traffic doing both of those. Those cars are made of dark matter with infinite mass 😂. LaF stop force barreling there. It’s too risky. Vulcan I hate when that happens. Tends to decrease when aiming to jump from in between two top most lines on the ramp or the line right above the arrows. BC in downtown rise the first barrel(s) needs to be low as well as the second. If you can achieve 2 on each while going low the next transition is way smoother and quicker. You can land closer to the building on the left and shockwave out and micro drift down the decline for a faster exit on next corner. Second GS, that bug was called out long ago and it’s still not fixed...

uhm thats odd! But i think its more iOS related, Asphalt its just a sandboxed app that cannot stops nor edit in any way the video you are recording using the iOS screen record. You should make sure of 2 things:
- to have enough free space on your device
- if you force touch (or long touch on iphone XR) the record button it will list the apps that can handle the video recording. Check that "Camera roll" selected (look at the following screenshot)

i noticed that from today the game can go in stand-by while reproducing ADs
until yesterday i could leave the game reproducing ADs without interacting, but know i have to tap on the screen to keep it alive

iPhones with OLED screen (like X, XS and XS Max) have a shorter timeout before going in standby, maybe thats the reason because not everyone really suffer this problem

Had to switch to other country to download or update the app.

Unable to play ads after couple of refills. Earlier "Error Unknown" used to show up but now nothing happens. Looks like whoever was trying to fix the issue removed the error message instead of fixing the issue. I have been in con with GL CC but all they say is they are aware of the issue and are working on it.

Alita's italian ADs always fails to load at first try, but always work after hitting "retry". Happened 4 times in a row right now. Game is always on sync and have no issue playing both event or MP

I would suggest start with the most simple steps:
- Check if no other apps running on a background and terminate them. Then check the game again.
- Restart you phone, then check the game again.
- Check for available system updates,
- Reinstall the game.

also, for iPhone 7 and older models you can clear the ram without restarting your phone:
- hold down the power button until the "slide to power off" screen appears (~5 seconds), then release the power button
- hold down the home button until the home screen appears again (~5 seconds), then release the home button
Done! You cleared your ram
This doesn't work for iphone 8 and newer sadly 😦

I can confirm that it lags like crazy on iPhone 6s+... and non of those “troubleshooting” steps help tbh. This happened after the latest A9 update, never experienced any lags before that!

Hey iOS players! Ever tap your lock button by accident while racing? Turn on guided access while in A9. You can toggle off the sleep/wake button to disable it while in the app.

My screen went black when I tried to double my coins; double coin- pressed it- Black screen. No video, only music and the game doesn't work anymore. Restart the game, It works, and the level I did was still completed, but without the doubled coin. i have watched quite a lot of ads today/recently, so that might be connected to the problem

I have an issue with ingame name change. Im using Game center connect and Facebook connect. When I change clubs I usually change my name to fit in the club and the problem is that it does not always display my last nickname, but also the previous one sometimes in club list and chat. Can anyone help me?
Edit: Now the state of the issue is - I start the A9 app and I have my previous nickname, I play one race and I have the new correct nickname. I tried leaving and rejoining my club it helped a little bit, but the issue is still there.

@pseudo mason clear ram by holding power button and when slide to power off appears hold home button until the power off slider disappears. Turn off background app refresh, location service, and notifications. Also in accessibility screen try reduce motion. Game is lagging for most devices as of late I’m noticing.

The devs are who runs the game & they are too busy to answer individual questions or complaints all the time. The Asphalt Team posted in one of the channels recently that ALL game issues need directed to Customer Care since that is who will ultimately either fix the issue with a player's individual problem or at least answer your questions.

Can the dev team please look into optimization on iOS platform? Many iOS players are having new lag after the last update. It can happen many times during a single race. It’s like frame skip but even worse. This is on low and high end devices. On the lower end devices the game is barely playable because of this issue. Many cannot just up and get a new device for a game so please optimize for all devices. Many of the special effects while applauded are not necessary and create an increased workload for all devices.
