In that respect there is nothing there broken to fix. You get opponents based around your current position so you will only get a certain number of different people who are slightly higher/lower than you. It works exactly as intended

You pay credits, you get a refresh. There's a chance some people stay the same but you know that before spending. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Not seeing what is a supposed to be a scam tbh

It's a lot for some, it's peanuts to others. I didn't say it's good value but it's not a scam. It says the cost and up to you whether you spend it or not. If you have to spend millions to find beatable opponents then you're better off staying lower in the rankings early on and making a late push
