If the same amount of work and attention was paid to optimization of alu as it was to the original game they could've even increased the texture quality, or at least avoid making it worse

dxvk supports only up to directx11 and they didnt remove the textures as the textures get downscaled - theyre just using a poor level of detail value instead of letting us manually control it, resulting in what you see there
why theyre forcing us to use such horrendous texture quality is beyond me, textures barely impact performance yet they severely impact the look of the game

Yh it was a windows 11. It made the PC run slower after some time (mostly because it was forced and Windows 11 was not fully optimized for gaming at the time I installed it) so I rolled it back and I've seen a increase in it's speed.

With the Steam you have something like an emulator running and if you don't have a lot of extra RAM and CPU power there's is great strain on the PC. The MS store version runs on it's own so lighter and with Low spec PCs like mine every little GB of RAM is important (BTW I have 12GB and Window's 11 eats like 6 or 7). I played NFS with and without Steam once even though the game run like poop(that's why I got warned) there was more FPS without steam.

im rocking an rx6800 (more or less on par with the 4070) and i dont get any stutters/freezes, which is most likely because of my lowered settings that dont sacrifice the visuals too much
also if you care about reflections, keep antialiasing on low else it'll stop working - in return, lower res scale to 120%

Honestly it's not big enough of a problem for me to lower my graphics settings too much. It only started happening a few days ago in MP races in spots where there's lots of cars. I'm running 100% res scale at a 1600x2560 resolution and I really do care about reflections, so I don't think decreasing any of those is an option. Either way, thanks for the help - I appreciate it.

it's annoying that you're repeatedly told you have rewards to earn when you actually don't, but the "triumph rewards" are all one-time rewards, and they do still work as intended if it is your first time claiming them

the game tries to start but only gives a black screen and the purple asphalt cursor and seconds later it closes and sends me back to steam

And regarding the steering problem, it is now better after I tweaked some settings from the steam controller settings. Hello. So the new update added more achievements on steam. One of them doesn't work, it asks you to get 50 cars. But I have 55 already, and the achievement doesn't unlock. Can someone address this to the devs ? Thanks

Constantly missing network in multiplayer, game-side controller configuration no longer available and vibrations of the controller that cannot be deactivated, such as no receipt of redeem codes / daily free gift?

I didn't realize ALU has poor Anti aliasing which kinda looks like TAA - (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) which probably it is
The Left Image is AA Turned Off, No Dithering on the water - but you see a weird aura around your car & barrel rol ramps, It looks Crisp & Increased Performance
The Right Image is AA Turned On, There is Weird Dithering/points on the water, kinda blurry, looks smooth but decrease of performance
I thought It was a map Issue because back in A9, It looked normal
but it seems like it's a setting / render thing

adblockers dont have asphalt's in-game ads blocked so thats a stupid as hell suggestion
steam version doesnt even have ads
those "ads" are directly from gameloft and are specifically related to the game
so something is being blocked or theres cache corruption

you can also hover your cursor in the top right quarter of the screen, at one spot you'll see the mouse becomes the pointed hand, click on it and it'll be gone

yo im back with another issue to give to the devs. theres an issue where me and other members of my club cant let anyone in. we have 19/20 people but when we try to let new people in, it keeps saying "You are already in a club" as if it was talking about me already being in the club and not the person asking to join. i can send a video clip demonstrating the issue if needed. this has been happening since the new season dropped. dont know if this is something that will be fixed soon. (edit: i dont own the club, but it seems everyone whos promoted, including the owner, is having the same problem)

@quaint solstice taking it here now since general is constantly flooded, the pass is gone for me after it returned earlier after the fix was pushed
