Previously, typing "-directx" in the Steam launch options would have allowed the game to run at 11 instead of DirectX12, but this is no longer possible. Is this no longer available?

the only workaround is dxvk, which requires a compatible gpu

rx6600 sounds pretty new so it should have vulkan support

with dxvk you can force the game to think the highest your gpu can support is dx11, though i forgot the cvar

Sorry, I actually have no problem with DX12 when using RX6600(Just used it to take screenshots), but I want to use DX11 when playing on a 10th gen Core i7 + Intel UHD Graphics computer. Is it possible to do it the same way?

you can probably only workaround the old version 1.10.3 of dxvk - as this has a lower vulkan requirement for vulkan 1.2
That helps only for old graphics cards most of the time - also the version is not supported anymore as it is from 2022

So this is interesting; I logged into my steam account on another computer and it worked fine; tried it on my personal computer and it’s glitched… even after several restarts, rebooting the router, a full uninstall and reinstall, and some storage/cache clearing, it’s still glitched

currently theres no way to switch back to directx 11 (what the microsoft store version runs on) since they removed the launch argument to do that 2 updates ago

you can bypass this if your gpu supports vulkan and you install dxvk

the steam version has a downside of using directx 12 by default if your pc is capable enough, and theres currently no way of disabling it
