Belt calibration seems crazy to me and x input shaper. Not sure where to start with what i have. Good printing machine with a few thousands of hours on it. I print on the slower side of things and wanted to speed things up and i guess try out the full options on my cartographer. Now I'm kind of wondering if I have an issue i didn't know about because i don't crank up my speeds. Any help on what to start with would be great. I can run this all again from my can board if anyone thinks it may show something different. Cube photos below.

your belt tension appears to be to tight.
In addition I would check the belt path. It looks like you have binding going on (low frew in input shaper)

I pretty much tore the gantry apart, Double checked everything, re-racked it all, and de-did belts.

those are you ab motors. The xy joints are at the ends of the x-axis

THos are your front idlers

your xy jounts are the ones on the same rail as your toolhead

I'm not sure how you were able to see the left X,Y joint crack so I'll give you that. LOL The front idlers are two pieces there and that is the seam. All screws in the motors are there and tight. and the right joint at the sprocket was not tight. I could have probably turned it with my finger.

can I ask a dumb question. On voron 2.4 I know what the A/B belts are but is there a rule that A belt is left side and B belt is right. I just don't know if I can ask and get a simple question of this one is A belt and this one is B belt.

No rule. Its just which belt is driven by which motor 🙂

On our printers its like a sheep, Baaaaa

doing belt tension I notice it looks like the tighter the belt the higher the power spectrum density is. is there an ideal area that should be like the 2.5 area. That is just almost about where evey graph i see as an example shows up in that area. Or do I need to still tension by sound. Just not very good with the sound method

thank you. I already had this design printing and I think I got it pretty close. At least I know they are close to each other. I'm waiting on my wire to show up. I did run a few tests before I know for sure. Here are my results.

both x and y could be assiciated with toolhead

I would print a voron cube and lets take a look at what it looks like

use EI for both x and y shaper, and include damping ratio

I just put a new hot end on this. I went from my original V6 to a dragon UHF so I will still need to adjust PA, and probably even double check my extruder because I would say there may be a lot difference between the two. Not sure about the extruder so i figured I would at least doubel check them

Is this what you're looking for. I don't think I have ever change any of these. Whatever Orca put there when I set it up.

First layer speed I have changed but accels I have never touched that I can recall

I'll do some checking. When i changed hotend i had to print new and redo my extruder. No tap, Cartographer, and now cutter on stealthburner.

I reprinted the XY joint that had a crack but I think i need to reprint A/B motor now. The B motor for sure Looking at the picture I just took and Zoomed in on.

That top pattern on your motors does not look right

What do you mean? The screws or the way it is printed?

it looks like you have a waffle pattern on the top of the ab motor mounts. It is not suppose to look like that

When I printed these a few years back it was printed on my ender 3 pro with glass bed. That bed has black raise almost like dashes on it that are sticky when it heats up and not sticky when it cools. Forgot what it is called. I think that is the pattern you are questioning. I was going to reprint it all once I had my voron completed but never did. But I guess I will now. The cracks have to go.

Is the original 2.4R2 design still the best or have they upgraded that design or do you know?

I'm still good with printing. Not really affecting anything much. Been printing for a few years with good prints just wanting the best i can so i started playing with input shaper stuff. Keep finding small things so I think i'm getting there. New mounts printed and will install with in the next day or so. Thank you for all your help so far.
