Extended the pellet chamber thingy (words are not working for me today😋 )
And also moved the top edge inline with the mounting notch to give a more homogeneous look.
The extra room for pellets will also be a good benift - going from a couple mins worth to a few mins worth

im happier with this colour scheme now so going to hit the print button for the parts🎉
i also listened to my fellow enthusiasts for MORE pink and the wide stance.
ive split the printer left and right
right will be pink
left will be purple
all other parts will be the -white- sparkle asa (or dirty ice as i call it)
the wide stance was as some called out - too much
but as i want to get a bit more speed out of it when printing (aided by generous donations to Sub 0🫶 ) it will need the extra foot print to stop it from falling over😬
so i compromised (but it does looks much better)
i have effectively reduced the outward stance so they look like they should be there... and i call them BABY FEET🥰

well here we go again
Kalico is now running Sub0 and i may have made a slight boo boo when buying the touch screen
i got the spi version and not the dsi one, so its a no go for this one.
ive tried for 2 nights now to get it working but it just doesnt want to play.

in the mean time ill be printing new Tulip parts and upate all the other parts too so it'll be a fresh build for smrrf!

Thanks. I seen yours at smrrf and thought its cool why not have a go myself. I just ordered a pink v0 frame from aliexpress and cut it myself. Machined my own bed but have failed to find a magnet that's strong enough to hold a pei down so that just got prit stick down

I can send you a file to help keep it in place if you like.
Its more a band aid than a proper fix.
I was going to try the fraviflex mag sheet to see it that was any better.

But it sounds like you had lots of fun making all the bespoke parts for this printer😉

I printed a tiny benchy and left it on the plate and haven't used it since. It was certainly a fun project I appreciate all the information you posted. Would have been great to chat during the build. If your at smrrf this year ill definitely try say hi

I've found the HoneyBadger magnet sheets to be the strongest and longest lasting, but don't remember the distributer on your side of the pond...

Ill give it a go, cant hurt to try and almost anything has to be better than a fysetc sheet anyway🤣

Get a big sheet and you can probably replace the sheets on all your V0s

Buuuut im not sure its enough, the cores are very small, like 0.33mm² or smaller so not sure it can deliver.

Ive also been going over the main design and im not sure i can make the pedestal stable enough for when printing.
Any wobble will probably make the prints look not great and itll also look a bit naff seeing the printer wobble about.
So im shelving the idea untill i have more time and money to throw at it as id like to get this idea at least tested.

For now though im doing a spool holder and having the spool laid flat on it😋
