i was using necronomicon and summoning zombie kittens
i was able to summon about 6 per fight

the thing is - every one of them had a small chance of spawning with madness (which makes them attack anything - including friendly units)
and i was doing well - lost 3 cats along the way, went through hell and back, but still made it to the last zone
and this is when i realized

zombie cats can feed on corpses of dead units to restore health
and that apparently also includes your downed units - and those zombies don't even need madness to do that

#

i baiscally became food for my own summons

Started Jedi Survivor, made through the first opening chapter, fortunately it runs smooth on XSX so I can focus on getting good part. Of course the first tool you earn is a goddamn grapling hook FeelsTiredMan but otherwise combat and exploration so far feel very same-y, but I assume that will change a tad later on when I get more equipment. First chapter is a classic "simple work goes very sideways" and I worry that 2nd act of the game will be ||getting the band together again|| which would take plenty of time but we shall see

and he was born with a skill that lets him dig up corpses and reanimate them as zombies

i have also found a mewcrononicom ex mortis which lets me spawn 4 zombies out of thin air

but then i got a skill called "mini me"
which spawns a mini copy of... me

and that copy also has necronomicom and also spawns even more zombies

#

the thing is - i didn't think this through - this necro cat has a pretty low luck so half of them spawn with madness dusa

so it's like - i click once, do one move
and then it all spirals out of control

it's just zombies fighting zombies who eat other zombies and i don't know which side they're on dusa

it ignores shields and adds poison

@fathom juniper so i got a mage that had the forbidden flame skill, sets fire to the whole map and only damages enemies, also comes with "permanent consequences"
i casted it and it gave the cat goddamn PSYCHOSIS
so in the RAT fight, it automatically cast the spell again and set fire to the whole map 😂 😂
