You got clockets, you got splitting, but you didn't get hyper delivery. Hermes should be high priority in speedruns. Apart from that, getting better luck and being more efficient will make you faster

Turns out of you spam trippy shots and have smoldering air you can use the call every 3 seconds. This became extremely easy, by the end i wasn't using my weapon to attack at all only for occasional specials.

Food rooms are the default reward when the game can't give you an actual room reward. It's basically like not getting a room reward at all.

So say you have a blue laurel room with three options, say darkness, gems, and key. You reroll the gems gate, and the only thing it can become is nectar. You then reroll it again. Since it originally displayed gems, it can never go back to gems, and since it currently displays nectar, it can't give you nectar. So it has no options and gives you food.

it's a default room reward. I've only encountered it for non- boon rooms (rewards are either darkness, gems, nectar or keys)

you can get to a room with three exits in asphodel, if it's your first run the game will not generate a nectar or gems room reward and will instead offer health

this doesn't happen with boon rewards, because it can always offer god boons, poms and obol

The reason this happens is because you can't get gemstones or nectar on your first run, and so when the game offers three blue laurel rooms like it tends to do in Asphodel, it has to fill the third one with something, and it gives you food as a substitute

Whenever you turn on underworld customs, definitely use dark foresight. Tbh you should be using it all the time. IMO, not using it messes up your boons more than most of the pact options

Definitely my favorite build of all times, and it’s freaking strong (destroys bosses and mobs) : Poseidon knockback on attack, special, cast and dash, Poseidon legendary for double knockback +all the effects poseidon gives on knockback, Poseidon / Zeus Duo for lightning on every knockback + Static Discharge for Jolted on the knockback lightning, it deals so much damage + almost no damage taken with Athena Call that you can spam again and again thanks to Proud Bearing, Clouded Judgment and Boiling Point + extra dodge and move speed every time you use the call with Second Wind. This makes the build completely overpowered in offense and defense, and I didn’t get it but two more boons can make it even more OP and absolutely broken: Billowing Strength for extra damage after using call, and Rush delivery for extra damage based on move speed. If you want to try it just do it, it’s so much fun to play

decided to play around with gilgamesh fists since i wasn't that much a fan. Privileged Status + cast + maim gave me over 500 damage on the first doom procs, plus i was backstabbing for like 200 per attack. Almost ended up being my best time magikkek
