I love double nova & everything to do with Crystal beam. I like to run Stygian soul so I dont have to worry about collecting ammo. It's especially nice when you get the legendary boon that gives you +2 and/or the chaos boon that gives you +1.

32 Heat Fists cleared. Not the fastest run ever using the Gilgamesh aspect, but worked pretty well with Doom / Maim. Shoutout to Aphro Weakness on Attack for keeping me from taking too big of chunks. Attack speed on the Gilgamesh takes some getting used to but hits hard. Did Ruthless Reflex as the weapon aspect gives you some more movement over default. Shield is my last 32 to clear.

i thought the same thing and the run before that, it's what i tried, but it honestly worked a lot better to have ares on attack and aphro on special. i'd bull rush into crowds and then release the special, plus with the explosive return hammer it did a lot of damage (because i also learned it gets the special % bonus). so the return was doing like 200 dmg in a large aoe

Probably my strongest run ever in terms of how well and quickly everything came together, wasn't even deliberately trying for speed, just working my way through the rotation as I push my heat up/collect bounties... but I had ME by the end of Tartarus so I knew it was gonna be a hell of a run, everything just clicked together. Would've been faster without EM4 and me taking a side-trip to steamroller charon 😁 I feel like I could've easily handled muuuuch higher heat with this seed just handing me exactly everything I wanted as soon as it possibly could.

So PS proccing from Exposed, Chill, and Weak, as well as an Epic Broken Resolve (weak reduced damage by 20%+15%=35%), Unyielding Defense hammer, Sudden Rush hammer, and a rare Sure Footing kept me alive when I ducked up in not dodging Best Doggo's boulders well enough...

And just now I noticed I still had 3 DDs left... well, damn. This went way better than last time xD

Here we go! After trying for multiple hours to get a decent 1-heat run (time limit only because I hate the survival rooms) going with Hera Bow, repeatedly getting wrecked by the room rewards (only 4 boons, 1 of them a non-cast boosting chaos, and 2 poms up to 3rd room in elysium) and using "Give Up" in frustration, I decided to say screw it and try to go for my third ever EM4 clear, this time with Chiron (my first for a bow).

RNGesus finally blessed me, Concentrated Volley hammer as the starting reward, Epic Arty Special as 1st boon, rare Chaos Special booster (+47%) 2nd, common Aphro Attack as the 3rd, followed by common Support Fire and finally Heart Rend as my 4th and 5th. When I got Relentless Volley hammer from my first Elysium room I laughed maliciously. Soulcatcher Miniboss went down in 4 volleys, after Meg helped out Asterious took 4 volleys and Theseus took 2 on Chariot and 2 on foot.

Tiny Vermin died in 2 volleys after Meg helped, which took 5 seconds after it dug itself back up the first time and decided to call for help in an exposed location.

Out of my 5 attempts and 3 successes this was the easiest EM4 run I've ever had. With ||Hades|| Keepsake I think getting both Concentrated-/Relentless Volley may have been excessive, and thus Crit Chiron is alive and well. You just need either one of them and low heat :V
