I have to share this victory cause I'm so happy about it. 14:02 minutes is a hell of a record for me. It could have been even faster if the Satyr sack hadn't shown up in the 4th room of Styx. By the time I'd beaten Theseus there was still 5:27.26 minutes left on the Tight Deadline timer for Elysium. I don't think I've ever beaten him with more than 2 minutes to spare, yet alone over 5 minutes. The run timer had only reached 9:36 minutes by the time I reached Styx. And the Victory Screen has the GALL to not give me the Victory message for a sub-15 minute run lmao. Basically, Heartbreak Strike + Artemis Dash + Serrated Point = Lightning fast runs. Having the damage buff from Hades spear spin helped occasionally too.

@terse reef Challenge numero 8, complete. Ngl I'm not used to playing with Calisthenics Program on, so I was really weirded out by how slow the run was going at first. Even Epic Heartbreak Strike wasn't cutting it. Thankfully when I got Hunters Mark and Pressure Points in Elysium, as well as +3 dashes from Hermes, the run sped up dramatically. Lost a couple DDs to Hades, even all that health and damage reduction wasn't enough to stop his damage being insane with Hard Labour 2 on. Solid run though, had fun.

Seeing everyone else's total health at the end of the challenge runs this week makes me wonder just how badly the RNG messed me up in terms of health increases lmao. I never found a single Centaur Soul in any of the Wells, was given two non-health increase boons from Chaos, so I didn't even manage to scrape 400 total health lmao. Guess I wasn't tough enough.

I got one of those Centaur Souls and a chaos life boon, but didn't reach the 500 either. I was sorta glad that I didn't run into an Infernal Gate with a Heart, because that would have been a guaranteed onion with that setup.

The current challenge was fine, imo. It was a bit tougher in Tartarus with the DC active but once you get a few health packs and a half-decent attack boon it becomes kinda hard to actually lose the run, Arthur on it's own is just really quite good.

Used the same seed as before, which is why 49 still appears as a new record. This run was insanely blessed. Got Black Out, Athena's Aid, and Divine Dash in Tartarus. Got Explosive Shot, Than, and Patroclus in Elysium. 2 room Styx (though to be fair, Hades melted, so I'm pretty sure I could have lived with 3).

Dusa only went to a party with Thanatos; can't let the best girl to be overworked!

I don't usually post victory screenshots, but when I do, I post 3. But they're good ones! Got 3 hammers thanks to fates, gave up Ferocius Guard which I got from tunnel's Hammer and got Blinding Flash from Athena which gave me 105% bonus backstab dmg which all combined my boons resulted in 4555 crit damage, which is nice ;). Was doing around 700-800 dmg from throws. And I thought Beowulf is only about cast builds ๐

Aphrodite's Aid, and Smoldering Air meant that I could keep Hades perma-charmed in the second phase of that fight. I just cheesed him down.

I don't think there's something as undeserved victory in Hades tbh. Sometimes RNG is more generous, which works in your favour, but in the end, you need to get all the way to final boss, learn the attacks, get proper boons and use your weapon in a proper way. So even if it felt like it was too easy, the victory is deserved for sure, as it surely took you some time to get there. So congrats! Be happy! ๐

FO2 is fine, it's worth too much heat to not use, and it's perfectly learnable. Probably in the future though, RI1/2 is pretty manageable, and the first couple of ranks of HL are not noticable.
The ranks in JS are also a bit sketchy, but fine since you're on TD1, and CF is relatively low impact. Honestly, you probably accomplished "effectively" closer to high 30's in heat, just because of how horrible DC is for Arthur.

Holy Smokes. Just beat Hades, with the use of a single death defy and without getting hit after using it, on heat 8, with Chaos Egg for the prophecy. By far almost the best I've done. Not the first time I've beaten it on heat 8. but this one was underpowered. Dude, the only thing that was all that big in my build was the Cursed Slash from Deadalus with my Stygian Sword. I didn't get the picture at the end of the fight, but I described it lol.

This run sucked. I should not have won, the railgun has awful damage output (but of course, that's just a sacrifice you need to make to use it), it was a struggle the whole way, I finally gave up on trying to use my attack at all in Styx and that's the only reason I won, that's sort of how elysium went, but I was at least TRYING to use my attack, I got Premium Styx before fighting the heroes, which saved the run because I had previously lost all my defies, and still lost two Deaths, and then Styx was a bit of a pain, but I survived and got to him. And then the actual fight was terrible, not in terms of taking damage, just in terms of wasting time. I was just blocking Hades from getting to me with the orbs. And the radiation damage slowly whittled him down. So time-consuming.

This build sounds good on paper, but it still felt quite underwhelming, maybe it would be better without Impending Doom.
Took Eternal Chamber for easier doom stacking, but maybe the ramping damage of the attack itself would've done more.

Yeah, Doom was doing 1000 damage sometimes with this, but it takes too long to trigger. It wasn't that good against most normal enemies.
