Turns out Athena's special works wonders on Lucifer because each pulse can deflect, so you can build yourself some nice defenses if in hard situations.

First run with the Aspect of Lucifer and it was pretty OP if I do say so myself. It started our rough because I was learning how to use it and I never played with forced overtime before so I died like twice in the first area but once the build got going I just killed things instantly.

@proper barn Here's my completed challenge! I a m t h e F i s h e r K i n g ! I didn't have any boon on attack the whole run XD Fates weren't merciful. Also, I didn't encounter the Light of Ixion once in any Well, wasn't able to get Hammers until Elysium and Anvil didn't appear. Got two blessings from Chaos though ;). It was fun!

Just got a new fastest clear time (by about a minute or so) using Aspect of Rama. I love this weapon so much. Putting Dionysus on the Special and then getting loads of Duo Boons and other upgrades to boost the Hangover effect was fun as hell. Got Curse of Drowning for the first time as well. Seems interesting, and does a lot of damage over a short space of time when you use all your casts at once, but I feel like the effect should be ever so slightly bigger.

The way to use it normally is to get a beefy dmg booster like aphro/dem/athena so you can get more crit dmg
Early game was the most scary without double edge though I was scrapping by to get through tartarus and asphodel, this entire run turned from trainwreck to crit explosion with just that one hammer and priv status.

Never had a single Light of Ixion show up (did need to buy 1 Fated Surprise) but RNG thankfully gave me 2 Chaos portals regardless. Anvil of Fate didn't show up either so thank god that was an optional condition lol. Being restricted to one random choice for each Boon I picked up was surprisingly fun tbh, really means you have to make the most of what you've got.

This is really an anti-victory boast, but I just thought the circumstances of the run were very amusing: I died 10 times. 3 lives from death defiance, 3 from patroclus, 1 from artemis, 1 from a well of charon, and 1 from Skelly. Very nearly beat the Big Man himself, but oddly took like 2 or 3 hits from him a row without being able to dash away or the game triggering invincibility frames. I'm considering it a victory to boast about because even if I lost they had a hell of a hard time putting me down.

Was really funny in the theseus and minotaur fight since i got them clumped close to each other, spread poison and shared suffering and proc priv status and the shots started bouncing and critting, which was dealt again through shared suffering until theseus died in like 3 seconds

yeah, the shield really works with my inexperienced playstyle. i can just charge up bull rush while pointing in the general direction of the enemies (especially easy with hades) and charge whenever i get the opportunity

Only my 4th time beating the game so far, 44 attempts on this save, Tried a new aspect on the shield which made things interesting and some perfect boons on this run. So much fun with this game!

I had never beaten Theseus and the Minotaur with the bow and then I suddenly beat Hades as well, I'm happy about this one
And I even managed to finish without using a single death defiance

@terse reef Challenge complete! Threw EM3 in there as well because there was a Titan Blood I'd yet to grab at 15 Heat lmao. Definitely a slower run due to several factors (such as an impromptu Charon fight in Tartarus lol). Frustratingly had to buy 4 Spindle's and ended up needing to do every single Styx room in order to get rid of all my Mort uses lmao. I never run Jury Summons so this run was a slog at times, especially with the bow, but overall the challenge was fun and kept me on my toes.

@terse reef Challenge complete! I also added on EM3; wanted some bounties from the Rail. I only found one Night Spindle. My biggest struggle was finding the Duo boons - I did a run before this one that was MUCH faster and more smooth, but couldn't for the life of me find that Duo boon!

Sadly didn't get Sea Storm, but was pretty broken anyway. Also got Master Chaos' Legendary Boon, which was just icing on the cake

Took a while for the build to come together and I had to take an extra Styx tunnel because Approval Process scratched out the only possible Duo I could have gotten in the Sack chamber. Managed to reroll another chamber into Athena and get Stubborn Roots. Rocket Bomb + Cluster Bomb made for an easy clear otherwise. Only lost a DD to a room full of Speeder-Savior Nemean Chariots. Added some extra

@minor frost Congratz! I'm glad it was fun and also challenging for you! Too bad there's no unique victory title for having so many Summon uses, but oh well ;). Also, the bow was my first choice as well when I tested the challenge! Already updated the Hall of Fame on the website 🙂

I lost the last defiance during Phase 2 of the final boss when he still had 80% left - that was tense! But the Skull Earring and Positive Outlook synergy came to my rescue.
Having the back to the wall does wonders sometimes.
