eurydice's acorn or patty's spearhead are the usual choices for em4, giving you a ton of extra protection

hestia already gets a ton of additive damage, a +40% from the butterfly is a small amount, it's better to sacrifice that for some much needed defensive utility

I've been struggling a ton with getting 32 heat, Been trying to go with all the weapons that had dark thirst on them to get extra darkness and gems, finally I said screw it and I'm going to go for the fun run went for Crystal Beam on Achilles, I finally did it, only had one extra Chaos crystal and only lvl 3 glare, but it did the job, hunters instict gave me so much athena call uptime, saved my bacon

so i finally won my first run.... i had about 50 runs and couldn't beat it several years ago; put it down and didn't revisit it until a few weeks ago where i decided to recommit to beating a run before hades II came out.

i finally learned how to use all of the things in the game, like the cast and call. im more of a hack-and-slash button-mash kind of gamer and so it was hard to rewire my brain to think strategy and timing lol.

i did probably 10-15 runs, most of them getting to hades and dying. earlier today i did a run where i got him to a pixel of health and then died, and then about 2 hours ago, finally completed a run. so relieved lol

I understand how to calculate hangover damage with low tolerance and curse of nausea but I need some help with incorporating splitting headache and pressure points. Is the % crit chance from splitting headache additive with pressure points? Assuming that I maintained a full 8 hangover stack = 12 % crit chance from splitting headache is the 3% crit chance from PP added to that? Also is it 12% crit chance per hangover tick every 0.35 seconds or is there a cool down time between crits that would prohibit that?

the legendary went kinda crazy but even then i only got hit like 4 times on hades and only one got through the shield

and also kinda insane that i havent played this game in like a solid year then i redownload it today and grind out this fresh file in like 4 hours of tries 😭

Because double strike doesn’t care about the internal cooldown that the normal lighting strike has (I think, don’t quote me on that). then I got jolted, Razor shoals, and just a lot of other good stuff. Just try it, it’ll melt EM4 hades so quickly.

Icons for every boon are specific to that boon so more experienced Hades players can usually read the entire boon screen just fine

@fringe breach i got it, removed extreme measures from asterius and yapper which made them a cakewalk even with +40%attack speed, but hades was pretty difficult attacking so damn quick, either way i had too much damage so i shredded him, only used companion on hydra
