I wouldn't say you're taking too much money. You're much better than the heat you're playing at, so you're going to have an overflow of cash, esp with no CF. Amount of health is fine with no HL, LC, and with DDs. If you end up taking those, i would switch to SD and focus on taking health to keep a similar health pool.
You 100% have the mechanics for 32-50 heat, just learn the bullrush combo and consider modding for guaranteed explosive return.

Thanks for the feedback!! I agree that I probably should've double rerolled on my 2nd hermes to try and get rush delivery, although I think with time my decision making will get better. My ideal build on zeus is typically aphro on atk and zeus on special and call for smoldering air, so that's why I never took any athena or ares core boons. Regarding the splitting bolt interfering with blocking, I rlly struggled when I had to choose between that and the call because I look for smoldering air but also would like splitting bolt since I thought it's essentially 2x dps output from all my zeus dmg sources. Does it mean i should avoid splitting bolt completely or just not take it over something like call or jolt?

It’s a delayed dash strike after you dash. Kinda carries you forward a little bit between dashes
Also the dad fight is a good example of the bullrush ER combo. Send out shield, dash strike backwards and charge up bullrush, rush through shield, repeat.

Aphro special is a super high heat niche thing tbh. Basically with AP2, you have fewer chances of getting jolted, which is almost required for dps

These moments when you got the chance between a centaur heart and nectar, and your like “why not both”. BUT THATS NOT ALL! Premium vintage also gives you a nectar instantly, where the effect already applies. So you have moments where you can choose between a centaur heart, nectar or dionysus and your like “why not all three”. Or when you give Dionysus nectar and he is a real bro, the dude gives you back your nectar, gives you health AND makes it so future nectar also give health. Shout out to the best boon EVER! React
