Nothing to brag about really, since it was a mere 7 heat run, but I just kinda like my build.
Crystal beams with extra cast, extra damage and the Crystal Clarity tracking system (they would be useless without it), plus Stubborn roots makes you feel invincible.
Not that I really feared to lose this fight on such low heat (level 3 extreme measures + 1 tight deadline), with 3 death defiances in hand, it's just having Stubborn Roots always feels nice. 🥰
Also, I'm a big fan of Side Hustle. Got it in Asphodel, and saved enough coin to buy everything at the Temple of Styx (except an anvil), including a drop of Titan blood and multiple poms to upgrade my crystal beams.
Those beams did great, by the way.
And the icing on the cake, I caught my first sturgeon after the battle.
That perfect catch method where you cover the bobbler with your thumb is the real deal. Alas, fishing spots in Greece don't spawn for me as often as I would like them to.

c'mon, people, it's totally fine to use godmode. in fact, I think more people should be using it. I've seen people with 50, even 70 runs, and 0 clears. there's no point and no fun in banging your head against the wall. godmode is like those tiny wheels, what do you call them, that help you learn to ride a bike
me personally, I have like 30 clears with godmode on, and 15 without it, and I gotta say I should have dropped those tiny wheels earlier, 'cause in the end it's more fun to ride without them 😉

What's the difference between Death vs Stubborn though? I only know that Stubborn you can defy death for multiple rooms

Death gives you 3 chances, each heal you for 50% hp. These can only be used once but can be restored by buying it from wells, certain Athena boons, and Patroclus in Elysium
These are stronger in boss fights compared to stubborn where you need a lot more hp for a longer fight
Stubborn defiance only gives you 30% per use, but since it's on a per room basis, your normal chamber clearing is going to be a lot easier since you get your revive back in the next room
Under certain conditions, SD can heal you for more than DD and give you more overall value, but if you're starting out, death defiance is generally much better because players get used to normal enemies a lot better and save the "revives" for boss fights, specifically heroes and hades
