There are other exceptions and such but IN GENERAL you want to think of those groups of damage types as your multiplicative multipliers

So in general you should look at damage calculations for poms as efficacy in your multiplicative damage sources. So a 10% increase seems cool until you realize your base is 110% (epic aphro attack). You are only making one of the key parts of your damage calculation 9% more effective. However a increase in pressure points from 2% to 3% makes one of the parts of your damage calculation 50% more effective. It scales better

Meg with one dash you can easily mess up and get hit by those three circles she spams. Alecto only does one of those circles each time, so if you don't i-frame it, you just dash out anyway.
