If you have excellent burst damage, kill the Dire Soul Catcher, then finish off any remaining naked shades (should only be 1-2 at most). If you don't have that but your damage is decent, focus on the miniboss and finish off any shades quickly as they spawn. If you have low DPS, just focus down the miniboss first, then take down the Exalted after that.

During runs, are you opening ||the troves|| you find? They ||are a fun challenge and have fair amounts of resources||. Also, following the Thirst spices gameplay. Gets you more resources and more fun too

Hades is an easy game to pick up. So you can return after a while and still remember the controls and characters.
Especially since the pandemic isn't finishing soon. So having something you do meanwhile is rather good

||If you play on low heat then instead of bounties you will get darkness, normally you will get 850 darkness per run just from the bosses||

||anyway, to answer the question, the way heat works is that you can add however much heat you want to a run. the first time you add heat, you can get new bounties (i.e. titans blood, diamond, etc.) from 1 heat. after that you have to use 2 heat to get new bounties. after that, 3, and so on and so on.||

eHP is effective HP. It's been called that forever in RPGs. You calculate eHP for dodge/evasion in the same way you do for damage reduction, just that it represents an average for dodge/evasion.

eHP is unarguable for resistance, since you remain at, say, 100 HP but now can resist 120 HP damage instead of your usual 100. It's deterministic.
Whereas when dodge is involved, if you have 50% chance total, you could still die in 100 damage should you get super unlucky. All that variability is easier to tackle in terms of expectations, the average result

If you have tooth in tartarus, and you don't use it, then it was pretty much a waste

Only switch to tooth if you think you're gonna die a lot in the next area

#

And if you think you're gonna die to a boss, use acorn instead

#

Tooth can only give you 100 health but if you use acorn and it blocks 5 attacks that deal 30 damage, then the acorn gave you 150 health

all types of material are useful, gemstones can get you work orders, darkness makes you stronger through the mirror, nectar gets you keepsakes, keys get you more tiers of the mirror and more weapons.

to get his companion you need to do this:

||Sisyphus' favor is earned by voiding his sentence.

As you get to know Sisyphus, he will introduce you to Bouldy. In order to start Sisyphus' quest, you will need to be at 6 hearts with him, learned about his backstory, and to have spoken to Bouldy at least once previously (giving nectar to Bouldy is not required).

Sisyphus' liberation quest begins with this piece of dialogue from Zagreus:

Sisyphus, I know you tend to be in remarkably good spirits, all things considered, but there must be something I can do to help with your predicament, isn't there?
After this you will need to have:

Access to the Administrative Chamber (purchased through the House Contractor)
Conversations with Megaera (who needs to be at 5 hearts) and Hades about Sisyphus' situation
A conversation with Nyx (who must be at 5 hearts) about the Admin Chamber (which can also be triggered by advancing Orpheus and Eurydice's storyline)
A followup conversation with Nyx about Sisyphus' plight, in which she tells you the location of his file in the Admin Chamber

In some rooms there are fishing spots, which are glowing points in water

When you beat all enemies in a room with a fishing spot, you'll hear a "ding"

#

And often when you walk past a fishing spot, zag will say "hey, a fishing spot"

Then you walk up to the spot and press the button, and then when the bobber goes fully under the water, you press the button again as fast as possible

#

The bobber will fake you out between 0 and 4 times

#

If you press the button fast enough, you'll get a perfect catch, which will give you a chance of getting a very rare fish
