and I beat Alecto and the Bone Hydra for the first time, met Thanatos for the first time and got over halfway into elysium

Zeus is great if you can get some t2 boons from him like jolted & such
they have a great duo called Sea Storm that makes knock back effect cause lightning or so

Ares is doom.. doom is great, esp if you get dire misfortune (think that was it) which makes it so it can stack

and ares cast has great duo with artemis - hunting blades

causes a blade rift that seeks out enemies

ares & zeus duo boon makes it so your revenge boons might activate without you getting hit

to mention a few things

asterius: focus him first, he stays on your ass. and when it comes to dodging, once you notice the keyframes/sound dodge to the side or behind him. and once he hits half hp you wont have to change your strategy much but make sure you kill him first

theseus: try your best to always know where he is for when he throws his spear and either dash out or get behind a pillar. to dodge his spin again dash to the side or behind him. and once he hits half, he will call a god that you dont have a boon of, and with that just be patient, watch the floor, and take your time

after you kill asterius you shouldnt have much of an issue since theseus leaves himself open a lot and is kinda slow :3

shield: use block, its a crazy good mechanic that can carry you and try to go for more status builds

spear: this also works with just about anything tbh. preferred hammers are things like charged skewer, serrated edge, quick/massive spin, and a few more im forgetting. these builds can also be more just damamge
