Once you unlock the rod of fishing you also have a chance of getting it as a reward from catching a fish on the ending maps, and in the final charon shop there's a chance it will be on sale for 1200 coins

1st and 4th boss kill on each weapon gives 1 blood each, for a total of 12

Tbh if you can make Styx consistently buying the blood for sale is a very consistent farm. It won’t always be for sale, but if you can at least drag your bleeding, broken body to Styx’s doorstep you can make it all worth it, even if you don’t clear the run
And yeah 1st boss is a guaranteed blood for each weapon you clear, and so on and so forth as you unlock postgame difficulty

when it comes to doom, you can only have 1 thing of it active at a time unless you have dire misfortune
and dire misfortune does not have a cooldown, its just every time they are hit with an article of doom after the initial one it gets a buff
if you dont have dire misfortune its just 1 arrow going off

Athena’s cast is great against basically any projectile though. Watching as the group of homing missiles suddenly turns around and is followed by an 80+ burst of damage is so satisfying.

zeus cast is has low single target damage but bounces between 3 enemies out of the box, which gives it one of the highest total damage stats when you think about what it does over the course of a room

dio cast is amazing. you give up the damage you get from lodging casts in enemies but you get back the highest base cast damage in the game, and huge crowd control capabilities from its bigass fog area
also dio cast has some of the best cast duos in the game, particularly with zeus

I had an incredible damage run going with the fists but I died due to getting greedy and trying to end the final fight as fast as possible. I didn't have divine dash 😔

I'd disagree, if anything it makes it possible to continue collecting it. Just clear with all 6 weapons at heat 0 then bump the heat up by one and do it all again
