Hey all! I've been playing blind and I'm yet to beat the game - what tips do y'all have for getting past ||Theseus/Asterius|| and the final boss?
My favorite weapon is by far the ||Talos|| fists and I'd really like to carry them to the end.
I can get through all of the first 3 biomes without getting more than a scratch, but everything starts tumbling down after the boss

my advice for them would be to stay mobile and try to focus one boss down at a time. it should be a lot easier to deal with angry gods if you don't have a bull breathing down your neck
also try to find a call with good burst damage, aphrodite should be able to nuke an entire phase, and artemis should get most of a phase

Also I could be misinformed but I think Zeus is overrated. The additional damage it provides doesn't scale at all, it's strong early on but even by mid-game doesn't do much
Zeus's main strength imo is chain lightning effects that can proc other enemies with attacks that normally aren't AOE
Also Demeter has a boon that fully chills (instant 10 stack) an enemy that hits you, I think it's awesome with a melee build too. Whatever hits you suddenly becomes an open target with a big window before their next attack

I bought it for one of my friends who doesn't normally like Roguelikes and even they liked it. Said it's one of the best games they've ever played. I've poured well over 100 hours into it and I don't have that much freetime to spare. It's seriously that good.

the exact nature of the favor varies, but you can generally just keep playing, talk to people, and the game will tell you what to do
if it's been a while without any notable interactions with a character and you feel lost you can ask specifically
