Dash over walls or tight corner and they explode.
Oh unless you mean the big chariots, then erm dash behind them? they can't detect you and won't chase you if you are behind them :D

Yeah, if you really want to kill them, use your Special instead of Attack.
With some timing, you can dash into them and i-frame the explosion, especially with Divine Dash. Timing is a bit tight though.

If you want to build into spear spin, there are two hammers designed specifically for that (Quick Spin and Massive Spin)
As for boons, just pick anything with a high %damage increase
