Just looking for the ones with the best % increase for my plain Aspect of Zagreus sword and spear.

I'm finally at a place where I am trying to go for a build and am trying to decide which keepsakes to pick at the start of my run.

And by "things" I mean titles and themes, so nothing gameplay related

Talos builds depend on whether you want a cast build or attack build.

Attack builds are just Divine Strike, Curse of Agony, or Lightning Strike like the other Malphon aspects (excluding the hidden aspect).

For cast builds, Flood Shot is probably my #1. Good gods to look out for with that are: (1) Lady Artemis for the Duo Boon Mirage Shot, her Legendary Boon Fully Loaded, and her t2 boon Support Fire, and (2) Lady Demeter for the Duo Boon Blizzard Shot, her t1 boon Ravenous Will, and her t2 boon Snow Burst.

They also make a good combo if you can get all three gods.

Another route is Curse of Agony + Flood Shot and get their Duo Boon Curse of Drowning. When going with that combo, a third god that comboes well is Lady Athena for the Duo Boon Merciful End (Lord Ares + Lady Athena) which requires her Divine Flourish, but you would also want Divine Dash in order to proc Merciful End with every Dash-Strike.

You could also run Lightning Strike + Flood Shot and get their Duo Boon Sea Storm.

Im having a blast right now with zeus attack and athena special/dash. It was kind of on accident but I have the single dash that gives bonus damage and then the hammer upgrade that makes my dash special do bonus damage so it does crazy high damage, i get some deflection protection all over the place and for large groups of enemies I use lightning chain attacks and zeus cast/call

Blizzard Shot is the highest-damage Cast you can get on Flood Shot, and it has great synergy with Talos. The only drawback is that it knocks your enemies out of its AOE, but with Talos you can just pull them back into it over and over to really do a ton of damage—especially with the +50% Cast damage that you get.

Yeah, Lightning Strike + Divine Dash is one of the go-to builds for any Malphon aspect.

Not necessarily. Number of Satyr tunnels you enter affects it. Satyr tunnels have 4 or 5 chambers, which seems to just be RNG. You can also get +1 chambers by taking a Chaos Gate or ||Infernal Gate|| just before the final shop in any region.

Well, you sort of get a feeling of some generally good boons (divine dash, deflect/weak attack etc.) that helps you out early

Doom can also pretty easily carry through Tartarus

What I have always experienced is the first 4 boons working together for ex artemis crit and athena deflects

And then full boon without any relation to the first ones

Well, gods cant offer boons that have no benefit at all to you. Athena wont offer you the exposed boon if you dont have a deflect boon for instance

And then im like okay another random run

generally your best bet is to shoot for builds that only require a small number of boons to come online

everything else is gravy

Also that it is theoretically possible to beat everything even without boons (taking a really long time though). So there's some amount of "gitgud" in there too I suppose

The most troublesome god's power he gets is probably Demeter, everybody else is somewhat similar

They are more or less the same as Gods' Trials god attacks

Poseidon, Aphrodite off the top of my head do not have their own projectiles like in their trials (a wave that surfs around the chamber and pushing you back dealing damage for the former, a slow moving projectile that homes in and stuns you in place for the latter)

I remember pre-1.0 days when Theseus' god call is literally the same for every god just coloured differently

cause it has the one where it surrounds you and you ahve to stand in the cienter or dast fast enouth to the outside

dodging isn't the issue, problem is when you face that hidden boss optional fight

picked early level? good luck beating him with your early build that for the most part is going to be bad

pick late game? whats even the point lol

benefit only "slap" if your early build is already op and you can take him down easily

there are plenty of builds that are fun to play and can be great, but fall off in high heat/speedrunning because of the need to be fast
