You can guarantee a god in Tartarus and again in Asphodel. That's a very common strategy for forcing builds.

Ah, I play on PC. But either way, having them all 3 starred seems fun. Slowly building up ||heat|| too depending on which weapon gets the bonus each run. At around 6 I think for the bow at least.

But you can test aspects using this method
Go to courtyard, spend the blood, DO NOT GO INTO BEDROOM. Go on a run to test, then either altf4 before death or Give up to revert save back to courtyard save. No blood spent/committed. That run never existed so you can try things out before saving/committing

Chiron requires more Titan Blood to make good use of than Hera since Hera can work just fine at Lv.1.

Once you get back from the run and the house resets head over to the courtyard. Interact with the spot where your current weapon used to be, an event should occur
The upgrade station is pretty much where each weapon is once you pick it up

Lady Aphrodite has the highest +% damage modifiers, and all of her attacks apply 30% damage reduction.
She also has very strong Duo Boons, and she has Life Affirmation at tier 1.

Makes his phase 1 shorter in the boss fight. So if you want to use a Greater Call on him or something, wait for phase 2 in the boss fight.
Phase 1 is longer than phase 2 in the miniboss fight.
Phase 2 reduces the delay between his attacks and gives him stronger versions of his attacks.
They both phase at 50%, so try not to use a Call or something when they're close to that.

looking for some build advice - was told to avoid #h1-builds-and-combat because of spoilers, so trying here. Trying to get my 3rd clear w/ either spear or bow. Pretty bad at both. I have || chiron and hera unlocked, no other investment|| for bow, and || only achiles unlocked, no other investment though the hidden aspect is revealed|| for spear. My two previous clears have made heavy use of || stubborn roots, lucky tooth, and divine dash || but that recipe has not been repeatable if I don't also find enough damage it seems. ||Assume for the sake of argument that I am very reluctantt to spend blood, of which I have about 6, but if there's a strong argument I'll hear it.||

you can; if you check the codex you can find the prereqs
i believe theyâre two of Exit Wounds (not useful with dio cast sadly), Support Fire and Pressure Points
once you have two of them, itâs just a matter of getting more arty boons until you find the legendary

If you really want to get Fully Loaded and just have a pile of casts, arty cast (True Shot) works great on Hera as well

the fight i lost on i had the daedalus hammer one where you get life steal at the cost of max hp on top of the dash to get hp you lost back

If either are in your lineup for the gods you have (Usually there's 4 gods that will show up per run) I would say to wait until you can get Zeus or Dio, otherwise just go ahead with whatever
If you gift a god Nectar, they'll give you a keepsake so that when you equip it at the start of your run you're guaranteed to get a boon from them first
So if you gift one to Zeus the next time you see his boon, you can equip it at the start of your next run and try to get shield special lightning from the start

If you really want a specific god to appear again when you've already used their keepsake, your best bet is Chthonic Coin Purse.

but sure, specifics: I suck at dodging. ||asterius in particular|| is a problem. ||Like, how do you get away from his charge? He just keeps chasing you. I've tried dashing through pillars, but that only works 10% oaf the time, I've tried dashing through him but he just turns around and keeps coming after me. I've tried running towards the wall, and I just get caught in a corner. How I get caught in the corner of a circular room is beyond me, but there you have it.|| ||Redacted isn't better. I'm maybe 30% at getting out of his spin, but the jab is a bigger problem, and I can never seem to get away from the jars once they start popping. That seems to be just an awkward placement problem, but lots of dying there.||
Build-wise, I struggle w/ getting enough damage out. Either the gods I want don't show up, or when I try and force them, the boons I wan't don't show up, even when I put on max ranks in olympian favor and god's legacy. I'm also still figuring out which boons I wan't to actually do damage, and the only clears I have needed both god mode and stuborn roots, so I'm locking 50% of my pool anyway.

okay, last run was zag spear, because I was sick to death of || achiles||. I was trying for ||merciful end|| so put curse of agony on attack. Posiden (tidal dash), Artemis (deadly flourish), and Aphrodite (think I took dmg reduction) were forced in tartarus, sold Aphrodite and put on athena. Ended up with phalanx shot as the only boon available, probably because dash and special were taken, didn't get offered a swap. Never got ||merciful end, unfortunately, was never offered.|| Had 3 Stuborn Defiances at Redacted, and can list what other boons I ended up with ,but alas.
