The general ideas is just for it to be safe
Fists have fast attack, so athena attack will deflect a lot of attacks
And you can have 15% dodge chance with the fists
Also you won't have unlocked the frost goddess yet

#

Aphrodite also gives you a defensive edge since if you hit with her boon it applies weak which let's the enemy do less damage
Also it gives the biggest flat damage buff

#

So the general idea ig was to be safe and defensive

@simple orbit Swift Strike, but they're all good options. Greater Evasion is great if you have Damage Reduction or Dodge chance from something else already—or if you have a lot of HP. Otherwise, it kinda doesn't do very much.

The stygian blade (the sword) is definitely one of the most (if not the most) intuitive-to-use weapons

#

I personally never use the cast, which is definitely odd

But for the sword it depends on which boon is the highest quality that I run into

Either normal attack spam or special spam

Typically I'll end up with a boon that has an effect on the secondary attack (whichever one ends up being weaker)

If they're stuck somewhere, Special > dash (the Special will hit at the end of your dash) > dash out. Sometimes you do a couple Dash-Strikes after the Special to finish them off quickly if that's faster.

Hades issue is that the bonus damage doesn't count on follow-up spins, so it's not really a spin-based aspect but more a spin-assisted attack / special aspect.

Depends what kinda build you're going for. The bow base isn't too bad so Frost Strike can work. Crystal Beam is pretty solid if you can get some upgrades. Dash can help get some nice chill and build duos.. well they all can build nicely xD

What do you think would help your build? The call can do very high damage, the special is nice, but for base bow your special attack isn't as focused, then small chance at crit should be left for later, it's a 'win-more' imo

Converting a few wouldn't hurt, but when you need it, you need a lot of it

For titan blood, you can try the aspects in the courtyard or

#

Go to courtyard, spend the blood, DO NOT GO INTO BEDROOM. Go on a run to test, then either altf4 before death or Give up to revert save back to courtyard save. No blood spent/committed. That run never existed so you can try things out before saving/committing

if you want to test on a run without commit, just don't die/clear and the blood usage won't save

I saved up a lot of blood and decided to max out chiron bow today
First time trying it, got concentrated + relentless volley hammers (special does +3 dmg per shot, special fires 4 extra shots)
And on top of a bunch of critical hit artemis buffs, this build is INSANE, now I know why ppl say chiron bow is good lol

Lockleaf, I might be late, but with the sword, I can let you in on a secret tech; hit special, and then immediately dash in a direction. If you do it right, your special should explode at the end of the dash.

Also if you’re focusing down one enemy w/ the sword, using the first two combo hits but replacing the last hit with the special also tends to be good; better damage and you don’t send your enemy as far away.

@nova vigil if you unlock the aspect of poseidon (its good even at lv 1) you can create a cast build thats really strong
Just use the Artemis keepsake to start out with her homing arrow cast, keep getting artemis boons for crits, buff your special attack since you're going to use it to dislodge cast from bosses anyways, and you'll have something pretty solid
You also don't even have to use the sword attack anymore which is pretty fun, you only use cast and special

if you get good synergy between your hammer and boons it can sometimes get high DPS

theres one fun technique of getting the hoarding slash hammer and just saving all your gold LOL but that's really hard since it's dependent on getting the right hammer

you're not exactly hitting single target for muchy

tbh i've had more success using casts after nemesis jumps
